School’s In! Adam Lambert Performs With L.A. School Kids

Even in the movie "School of Rock", Jack Black couldn't pull off a cool cameo like this one.

Yesterday, Adam Lambert stopped in at Belvedere Middle School in East Los Angeles, where he surprised 45 lucky Contemporary Rock class students with a Q&A chat and this fun, jam session. Adam sang a scaled down version of his hit "Whatya Want From Me", backed by musicians from the class.

Adam's visit was part of his ongoing efforts to champion music education programs in public schools. He recently rallied his fans to help raise $300,000 to fund musical instruments for needy schools.

A+ Mr. Lambert! -Dr.FB

  1. The Belvedere Middle School kids must have been really surprised to see Adam Lambert. Kudos for him giving back a little. Rock on Adam!

  2. Bravo Adam!! Its sad how much is being taken away from the kids and the schools so its great to see someone trying to give back and make a difference. This one day will forever stay in the minds of these kids. They may not become professional musicians but its wonderful just to have music as a part of them.

  3. The teacher got her work cut out with that lot, was she doing sign language?!
