Shakira has released her second single from her self titled album. The single "Empire" starts off with the Colombian singer sounding more like Florence & The Machine or Lorde than herself.

I like it. Better than the song with Rihanna before this.-DocFB

Jam Of The Week! Lily Allen “Hard Out Here” Watch Now!

Lily Allen Promo Photo

"It's hard out here...for a bitch" Lily Allen proclaims in her first new solo recording in three years!

"Hard Out Here" was written by Lily with long-time collaborator Greg Kurstin and was produced by Kurstin.

Lily continues to work on her third studio album which will be released next year.

The track will be available at all DIGITAL retailers on November 19th!

Hopefully people will get that the auto-tune and the twerking in the video along with the poppin' of bottles is making fun of those that do that. Sometimes sarcasm is lost in America. Washing rims in your sink? What?

The silver balloons are a total shot at Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines" video and his big....ego.

Some will say complaining about the objectification of women while objectifying them in the video cancels each other out.

Do U agree?-DocFB

Diagnosis: L.A. has crazy banana skills.

The DrFunkenberry "Jam Of The Week" is "Shake That" by Gimm+Icky! Just who is Gimm+Icky though?

Tripp Weir and Jeff Garrison are GIMM+ICKY and they have scored TV placements on networks like ABC, E!, Nickelodeon, and the NFL Network in just over a year.

“We met up on a Monday with the concept, were immediately on the same page, nailed down the direction of our sound, wrote several choruses, and a day later were asked to sit in at a writers night,” recalls Weir of how the duo got together. “There was immediate response, which of course added fuel to the fire.”

Here is the NEW Janelle Monae song "Q.U.E.E.N." featuring Erykah Badu, our DrFunkenberry Jam Of The Week!

Billboard calls the track unpredictable and says it is filled with some Princely guitar work.

Monae takes on religious tolerance and other things in the 5:12 track.

She explained to Billboard:

"This song is inspired by private conversations she (Erykah) and I have had and continue to have,"

"She's a great friend to me; she's like a big sister and it's a song about private dialogue that she and I have had."

There is no release date yet for the song but their will be an upcoming tour.  There is discussion by many on the web about if the song is discussing Janelle's sexuality.  Janelle somewhat responded in the Tweet below:
