Don’t tell Billboard that the year is over, but they have already named Beyonce woman of the year.

“Beyonce is a multi-platinum artist and a multi-talented woman who clearly embodies the qualities of excellence and achievement that the Billboard Woman Of The Year Award was created to honor,”said Bill Werde, Billboard’s Editorial Director.

Beyonce will be picking up the award October 2nd at the Billboard Women In Music Event.  The award is given out to the female with the most accomplishments within the past 12 months.

 We wouldn’t know what those things are because Beyonce is not covered at all in the media. (Insert sarcasm here.)  Videos every week either from Beyonce or her alter ego Sasha Fierce. Yea, Beyonce is way underexposed.-Dr.FB

Coldplay will give you a copy of their live CD “LeftRightLeftRightLeft”, when you purchase a ticket for their summer tour, “Viva La Vida”.  The give away will begin on May 15th, their opening day at the Cruzan Amphitheatre in West Palm Beach Florida.

“Playing music is what we love”, Coldplay stated.  “This album is a thank you to our fans-the people who give us a reason to do it and make it happen”.

Does it count as record sales as well? humm…….. Hasn’t this been done before?

Kelly Clarkson returned to the top of the Billboard charts this week as her latest CD “All I Ever Wanted” claimed the number 1 spot.

We are sure the Saturday Night Live appearance did not hurt.  No real need to talk about sales as they have been declining for years and hard to compare when that is happening.  Will let someone else play that game.-Dr.FB
