Eminem previewed his new video "BERZERK" on ESPN's College Game Day and his interaction with commentator Brent Musberger was classic awkwardness!
Eminem pretended to be out of it before and after the video was played. The preview, rather short, showed Em with Rick Rubin and Kendrick Lamar.
The full video for "BERZERK" will debut Monday and we will have it here and on "What's Up Doc?" as well.....
With how often football is watched live, it is a smart idea to debut music videos during the games, especially pro football games of the week. Getting about 25 million plus watching live. For 2 minutes of odd air time, the artist will reach an audience they would not normally reach. Wish there was a music network that would do something like that. Oh...wait.-DocFB
Diagnosis: Eminem knows how to market.....and not just in Detroit!
He was too late with the an apology and for comparing President Obama to Hitler, Hank Williams Jr. is now without a job.
Hank Williams Jr. will now longer be the voice you hear before Monday Night Football games. "Are You Ready For Some Football?" Well I am, but Hank Williams Jr. won't be anymore.
“We have decided to part ways with Hank Williams, Jr.,” ESPN said in a statement. “We appreciate his contributions over the past years. The success of Monday Night Football has always been about the games and that will continue.”
Hank Williams Jr., however is trying to say it is his decision and he quit; “After reading hundreds of e-mails, I have made MY decision. By pulling my opening Oct 3rd, You [ESPN] stepped on the Toes of The First Amendment, Freedom of Speech, so therefore Me, My Song, and all my rowdy friends ARE OUT OF HERE! It’s been a great run.”
Yea, sure you quit Hank. You would have said this Monday night when you said you were misunderstood and then when you "apologized" Tuesday.
Honestly, I think it sucks someone was fired for speaking his mind but comparing a U.S. President to one of the worst humans that ever lived, on public tv, and not in your living room, is just stupid.
What do you think of ESPN's decision to can Hank Williams Jr.?-DocFB
Diagnosis: Let's Get Rowdy
If you like hearing the "Monday Night Football" song before the game on Monday night, you might have to watch it on youtube from now on.
For the first time in 20 years, the "Monday Night Football" theme song will not air before the Monday Night game, ESPN announced.
Hank Williams appeared on "Fox & Friends" Monday (That was his first mistake) and he got political. Hank Williams backed McCain and Palin in 2008.
He commented on John Boehner playing golf with Obama is like Netanyahu (Israeli Prime Minister) and Hitler.
Fox surprisingly distanced themselves from his comment and said they did not understand the comment. Williams said "I'm glad you do not understand. They are the enemy." Fox then asked who is the enemy and without hesitation Williams stated "Obama and Biden. The 3 Stooges." Guess Williams can't count, can he?
After an outcry on social media sites, ESPN quickly responded with a statement;
"While Hank Williams, Jr. is not an ESPN employee, we recognize that he is closely linked to our company through the open to Monday Night Football. We are extremely disappointed with his comments, and as a result we have decided to pull the open from tonight's telecast."
This is not going to go away. I will be surprised if ESPN uses the song for the rest of the year or ever again. I'm all about freedom of speech but comparing someone to Hitler, is straight up lame.
We wonder who ESPN will turn to when it comes to recording a new song? Why do I have a feeling they are already calling Justin Timberlake?-DocFB
Diagnosis: I'm Still Ready For Some Football....Just Hold The Hank!
While vacationing in St Tropez, France Rihanna took time to give us the 2 piece with a biscuit.
We think we just heard a few people say "Yum yum, gimme some" through their computer screens. Although the photo below, it looks like she is...um..."packing" and is that a zit on her upper thigh? The packing gives a whole new meaning to a "2 Piece With A biscuit" for sure.
The 2 Piece With A biscuit line is catching on as it was featured on ESPN's Sportscenter last week.-Dr.FB
Diagnosis: She Can Call Me Rude Boy
OK, we are pretty stoked about this. Stuart Scott mentioned DrFunkenberry on ESPN's Sportscenter during highlights of The Jets/Texans preseason football game.
He quotes our "2 piece with a biscuit" line and credits us. Love it!
Check it out above! Thanks to JDecorte for providing the video!-Dr.FB
Diagnosis: Can't Be Ignored!
It was a unanimous vote in Los Angeles yesterday for AEG to build a football stadium that will cost the L.A. tax-payers next to nothing. The one thing; they will not build the stadium next to the Staple Center until a football team agrees to move there.
It was rumored the St. Louis Rams and The Minnesota Vikings were wanting to move there, but with each time having a contract with each of their cities, it is not likely going to happen. Then which two teams are favored to move to Los Angeles? A hint; both are already in California.
According to ESPN Analyst Adam Schefler, the two teams most likely to move to Los Angeles are The Oakland Raiders or The San Diego Chargers. Sigh.
I know a lot of people who would love for the Raiders to move back to L.A. Friends Big Game Dave and GK Raider come to mind. As A Dallas Cowboy fan, I don't really care either way. I would have loved for L.A. to get the Rams and rename them. Say rename them the L.A. Express to take it back to the old USFL days. A lot of baggage comes with the Raiders. I am not calling Al Davis baggage but having to deal with him is not exactly a cake walk.
I know L.A. wants a football team again but do they want the Raiders?-Dr.FB

LeBron James announced on ESPN that he is signing with the MIAMI HEAT
Wow! Dwayne Wade, Bosh and LeBron James!!!!!!!!
What are your thoughts?
