Dave Grohl Talks About PRINCE Being The Greatest Musician Of All Time

Dave Grohl Of The Foo Fighters File Photo

The Foo Fighters appeared on The Howard Stern Show to promote "Sonic Highways" and the conversation switched to PRINCE covering "The Best Of You" during his Super Bowl Appearance and then for about 5 minutes.

Dave Grohl talked about just how amazing Prince is.

The Prince talk begins about 15:40 in.

Grohl talks about rehearsing "Whole Lotta Love" by Led Zeppelin and Dave thinks that Prince blew him off to perform it live. That is NOT true.

Dave, if you are reading this, he did not call you out the following week but he did look for you at other shows and thought you were there and was trying to call up the person he thought was you but his security guard let him know it was not you. True story. In fact, the security guard is now your guard and can confirm this if you ask him.

Also, someone has the footage of the rehearsal of "Whole Lotta Love" but it is misplaced right now.

Dave talked about Prince's recent W Hotel walk on performance that went viral this week. Howard had to talk about the last time he saw Prince and a majority of the show being performed in the dark. Howard needs to bring this up every time he talks about Prince.-DocFB

Diagnosis: Props to Dave and Howard, here is hoping Beth takes you to another Prince show where the lights are on buddy.

Don't miss this week's PRINCE Spreecast!

The clip includes footage of the band's arrival, press, preparation for the set, and a brief cameo by My Chemical Romance front-man Gerard Way. The festival also featured performances from the likes of Foo Fighters, Skrillex, Bon Jovi, and many more.

The Rejects are currently on tour supporting their latest release, Kids In the Street, out now on iTunes. For more on the band, including upcoming tour dates with Blink-182, visit their official site at allamericanrejects.com.-DocFB

The Foo Fighters Rock Out With Joan Jett On “Bad Reputation”

The Foo Fighters performed "Bad Reputation" with Joan Jett on "The Late Show With David Letterman" last night.

Joan Jett is still rocking it and I can say the same for Dave Grohl and the boys. Dave though? I'm not sure Joan Jett raided your closet n I doubt you have a guitar like that. I know you are kidding..but yikes!

Joan also joined the boys on stage for their sold out show at Madison Square Garden. Hope you enjoy the clips!-DocFB

Diagnosis: I Love Rock & Roll.....

Dave Grohl is showing that it is really great to be on a tour with him. Their opening act's drummer had surgery but instead of replacing the band, Dave Grohl has stepped in as the band's drummer.

Cage The Elephant's drummer Jared Champion had his appendix burst on Monday and is still recovering. Enter Dave Grohl, the Foo Fighters frontman, and in case you didn't know, the drummer for a little band named Nirvana.

The Foo Fighters are playing the Forum tonight so you might want to get there early to check out Cage The Elephant with Dave on drums.

If someone from the Foo's is reading this, would love to interview Dave about something that should have happened at the Forum earlier this year and to catch Friday's show to cover for the site.  Just putting it out there.

Check out Dave as the drummer for Cage The Elephant below.-DocFB

Roger Waters Joins The Foo Fighters To Perform “In The Flesh”

Pure awesomeness! Roger Waters joined the Foo Fighters last night to perform "In The Flesh" on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon.

The Foo's took to the bakground and let the former front man of Pink Floyd Waters take over the band and what happened was a magical musical moment.

The Foo Fighters respect music and only when you do that, can performances like that happen.
