"You can be the President, I rather be Jon Stewart!" the Daily Show With Jon Stewart used the song "Pope" by Prince for a segment on....you guessed it...the Pope.
Although they were trying to throw shade at the previous Pope, we wish the new Pope would actually enter events using that song.
Check out the clip above.-DocFB
Diagnosis: Jon doing "Gagnum Style" to "Pope"....well...at least he didn't twerk.
Too Funny! Jon Stewart Returns To The Daily Show; Channels Freddie Mercury & Goes After Miley Cyrus & Her Foam Finger!
Jon Stewart returned to the Daily Show last night for the first time in 3 months after making a film in the Middle East. It did not take him long to go after Miley Cyrus and her foam finger.
In the clip Comedy Central is providing, you see it briefly but not explaining why Jon is doing the things he is doing. The clip below, which we hope stays up, gives you the full intro.
It seems Jon forgot how to act "American"...they made jokes about his facial hair while trying to fix him. He then morphed intro Freddie Mercury from Queen and then.....Miley Cyrus...including the MTV outfit along with the foam finger.
Check out the intro above. Trust us, it is worth your time!-DocFB
Diagnosis: Welcome back Jon!

Diagnosis: Who will sing "Thunder Road"?....
George Clinton brought the mothership to The Daily Show With Jon Stewart. It all started with talking about another Clinton, Bill.
They talked about how Hillary and Bill would fly to people's rescue. Jon then asked how John Olliver was going to get out of Beijng and Oliver said he is leaving the best Clinton way, on the mother ship.
Lo and behold, Dr. Funkenstein himself, George Clinton appeared. No more colorful hair but a very sharp suit.
If you thought politics were scary, do not pay attention to Oliver and Stewart trying to get down to "We Want The Funk" and we will try to give Oliver props for at least clapping on the 2 n 4.-DocFB
Diagnosis: MotherFunking George Clinton Baby!!!
Esperanza Spalding performed "Black Gold" along with "Crowned & Kissed" on The Daily Show With Jon Stewart. The Daily Show is not known for its musical guests performers but we were glad to see Esperanza getting shine from the political show.
We have been digging the groove of "Black Gold" and her new CD "Radio Music Society" for a minute.
Radio Music Society is more than her CD title. It actually is the name of her band...and she is taking members as you can see in the clip above.
We could not agree more with Jon's comment about Esperanza stating "I feel like you should be as twice as large as you are with the talent you have."
So true, don't you think?-DocFB
Jon Stewart is the most trusted name in news according to a Time Magazne Poll.
He beat our Brian Williams, Charlie Gibson and Katie Couric by 44 percent.
Message to newscasters: how sad is it when a comedy show reporting the ness is more trustworthy than you. Just saying,
Stephen Colbert debuted his newly shaved head on CNN today making a special appearance with someone in the military who is also a principal and was giving his speech to his students.
President Obama appeared over satellite and ordered Stephen Colbert to get his head shaved. In front of a roomful of troops and a General, Colbert was not going to back down. The Colbert Report records in Iraq this week and airs this week, despite reports elsewhere.
Colbert debuts shortly (not just his hair) after the :56 second mark. He doesn't look as bad with a shaved head as I thought. Stephen's show, the Colbert Report, is filming in Iraq this week to air this week. Whatever you do, please don't make Jon Stewart shave his head. He would def look ugly with that look.-Dr.FB
