Kimbra has just released the first music video "90's Music" from "The Golden Echo" which slated for release at the end of August.
The video is....trippy. Now just have to listen to it in my car and see if I am vibin' to it.-DocFB
Diagnosis: Were you expecting some 90's references you jabroni? I thought I told you that we won't stop. Woo-ha, I got you all in check! All the girlie's said you were pretty fly...for a white guy. Yea, can't think of any 90's references. Gotta go. Smells like some teen spirit in here.
Our photo of the moment is of Kimbra and Morris Hayes, known for being a part of the New Power Generation, Prince's band.
Word on the street is the past few days that Kimbra has been recording with Deep Cotton and Morris Hayes. Those familiar with Janelle Monae should know who Deep Cotton is. They also performed in Los Angeles last Sunday.
Morris, care to give the doc a scoop?-DocFB
Diagnosis: Kimbra Koolness....

Kimbra performed on Jimmy Kimmell last night singing "Cameo Lover" as the artist makes a name for herself sans Gotye.
Her CD arrived in "stores" earlier this week. The CD is entitled "Vows" and features 6 new songs that were not on her Australian and New Zealand versions of her CD there.
For the US edition of Vows, Kimbra recorded additional tracks in Los Angeles, CA with such producers and songwriters as Mike Elizondo and Greg Kurstin. Also included on the release is "Warrior" featuring Mark Foster (Foster the People) and A-Trak, originally recorded for the Converse "Three Artists, One Song" series.
This year is shaping up to be an extremely busy one for Kimbra. Her haunting vocals and impassioned delivery on the Gotye track "Somebody That I Used to Know" have helped propel it to an international hit#1 hit. Kimbra recently joined Gotye on his nationwide tour, and performed the track with him on Saturday Night Live April 14th. Later this month, she will head out with Foster the People on their US tour, which kicks off May 29th with two nights at Rumsey Playfield in New York's Central Park.
She will will be doing a special show at the Masonic Lodge at Hollywood Forever Cemetery tonight.

Gotye's "Somebody That I Used To Know" featuring Kimbra has inspired several cover versions and remixes. The Pentatonix version could be called a cover and remix and to some people, it is better than the original.
The way that people were covering "Make You Feel My Love" by Adele may not know that the song is actually Bob Dylan's and not Adele's. The song was covered successfully by Garth Brooks and others before everyone and their mom covered it since Adele did.
Gotye's song is everywhere. We will be surprised if it is not the most played song at the end of the year.
We are digging Pentatonix's version of it, but the question is, is it better than the original?-DocFB
Diagnosis: All Around The World The Same Song.....
Gotye performed on Saturday Night Live last week with Kimbra and now DJ Tiësto has added his funky touch to it.
Tiësto's remix treatment is sure to have this song playing at club's through the summer of 2012 for sure.
The remix is going to be available April 24th on Club Life-Volume 2 Miami. If this set is half as good as this remix, it may be worth looking into.
Check out the Tiësto remix of "Somebody That I Used To Know" by Gotye featuring Kimbra and let us know what you think.-DocFB
