After Jeffrey Osborn, the winner of American Idol Lee what's his name, and Monica, Anita Baker will perform the National Anthem before game 4 of the NBA Finals.
Which team will experience "Sweet Love" tonight? The Los Angeles Lakers or the Boston Celtics? Guess we will find out soon enough. Me? You know who I want.-Dr.FB
Nikki Yanofsky, the singer who did the Canadian National Anthem to open the Olympics, has been enjoying her success and turning 16!
Her song "I Believe" also hit number 1 and she has been outselling artists like the Black Eyed Peas and Ke$ha (Gaga Light) on the charts.
Check out the clip above and let me know if you want to hear more on Nikki.-Dr.FB
DrFunkenberry was lucky enough to get some time with funk/R&B artist Malina Moye. If you like ol' skool funk, we recommend checking out Malina's new album "Diamonds and Guitars" - it's full of great guitar riffs, funky grooves and strong ballads. Listen to a couple of tracks below.
Malina grew up in a family of musicians. Mom and Dad played for the band The Techniques and she considers George Clinton, Whitney Houston and other funk legends her cousins. You can see and hear their influences in her music, from her "upside-down" guitar playing ala Jimi Hendrix, to the waa-waa riffs of Prince and funky grooves of Parliament Funkadelic.
In the interview, Malina talked to us about growing up funky, meeting legends like Prince and Michael Jackson, belting out the national anthem before thousands, her Dad's crush on Sheila E., and what she has in store for this year. You can download Malina's "Diamonds and Guitars" from Amazon or iTunes. Enjoy - Dr.FB

Part II of the interview:
Adam Lambert attended the Young Hollywood Awards last night where he rocked the red carpet and left with an award.
Adam won the award for Young Hollywood Artist of the Year. While Kris Allen was singing the National Anthem at the Staple Center, there were people in bars nationwide saying that Adam should have won and then people saying that Kris deserved to win. It's interesting, weeks later people are still debating who should have won.
Well, last night, it was Adam Lambert taking the award home for Young Hollywood.-Dr.FB
