So we hear from several funkenberry readers that America’s Top Model and all around hot like soup hottie Adrian Curry is in line at the Wiltern for the very last Nine Inch Nails show ever! Well the last one for at least a decade.

If Adrian is reading this or anyone in line, if you get a photo or two of her and her friend sometime today or tonight when she glams it up, we will post those photos tomorrow or late tonight.

UPDATE: Hitler’s cry was heard and the shows have been rescheduled. Tickets were released today earlier for both shows. Hope you got them .Trent has since put this video on his official web site NIN.com.

For those planning on seeing Nine Inch Nails tonight at the Henry Fonda Theatre, the show has just been cancelled.

The notice was first sent out on their Twitter stating:

unfortunately tonight’s show at the Henry Fonda will not be happening. Please spread the word if you know anyone planning to attend.

this is due to Trent being ill, and receiving advice from a doctor not to play. More information will be appearing on nin.com any moment.

We really wish this wasn’t necessary, and apologize for the inconvenience. Thank you for your understanding.

I know a lot of Los Angeles fans will be pissed but he is sick. Hopefully, the show will be rescheduled. We will keep you posted.-Dr.FB

Sometimes, when it comes to musicians, we don’t take everything they say to heart.  Sometimes, that is a very good thing.

Trent Reznor, after saying the NINJA Tour (Nine Inch Nails  & Janes Addiction) would be the final dates for NIN for a while, he is adding more dates of the tour starting August 22nd.

Also, he has taken to posting on his twitter page again after going on a couple of weeks ban from there.  Again, we don’t mind and hope when the dates get announced in L.A., New York, Chicago and other places we hope you go and get F’d like an animal.  Try it sometime.-Dr.FB

While Dr. FB is out practicing his golfing skills, I thought I’d post something that is sure to spark up a good conversation.

Just recently Trent sat down with Digg.com founder Kevin Rose to answer some of his user’s top questions.  The interview was very interesting but in the end Nine Inch Nails fans felt misrepresented , so they (as any unhappy fans would do), took to the message boards and complained.

Reznor responded by offering NIN.com users their own Digg-Style interview and this time the singer wasn’t holding back.

“I’m not Prince or Rivers Cuomo who brags about having hundreds of great songs.  And to that I would say, Prince, if you have a hundred great songs or a thousand, how about picking a few and putting them on your record that you’ve put out because your last several have sucked.  Same for you, Rivers. I say that constructively, you know”.

Nine Inch Nails Will Tour With Jane's Addiction. File Photo

Trent Reznor announced on Nince Inch Nails official site, http://www.nin.com/, that they will be touring this year and the original line-up of Jane’s Addiction will be the opening act!  This is very cool. 

Trent talks about how when starting out they were invited to tour with Jane’s Addiction on Lollapalooza and Trent said “and were really fucking FUN to play and attend – truly the best times I’ve had. ”

Trent also talked about how they hooked up in the studio and recorded some stuff.  (Man, that stuff has to be so bad-ass!)

Here is some sad news.  This year will mark the 20th Anniversay of Nine Inch Nails first stuff coming out.  What does Trent want to do after the tour?  He wants Nine Inch Nails to take a break.  Although he says it is only a break, he says the shows will consist of different ways to see them and wave good-bye.  Man, that sure sounds like more than a break.  He does add that all of this feels right and that it will be fun for us and you.

This note from Trent and a wave goodbye seems like reflection on Trent’s part, and perhaps the band.  Nine Inch Nails is one of the most underrated bands out there and of all time.  Trent Reznor is/was and will always be the man.  He never cared about a mainstream audience.  That just happened.  He didn’t play the stupid TRL game with MTV and bucked them long ago. 

From bringing David Bowie back to the masses and the days of working with Marilyn Manson, the man has left a staple.  Wether wanting to F you like an animal or dropping loads of FREE stuff onto your hard drive, he has shown time and time again, he gets it. 

He is a musician who never sold out, and his fans love him for it.  Sometimes, playing for 10,000 fans who know all your stuff is better than playing for 20,000-30,000 who want you to play the remix version.  Nine Inch Nails had 2 great releases last year that you really should pick up and listen to the creativity.

Trent and the band may be ready to take a “break” but to the fans, let’s hope it is not too long!-Dr.FB
