It's back! The video premiered at tonight's opening ceremony for the Winter Olympics in Vancouver. Quincy Jones and Lionel Richie got singers together after the Grammy Awards to re-record the song as a benefit for Haiti.
It was a star-studded affair with artists from all different genres of music addnig vocals for the track including Jennifer Hudson, Lil Wayne, Jamie Foxx, Barbra Streisand and Celine Dion.
Michael Jackson was one of the original writers and vocalists when they recorded 25 years ago. They kept his original part in the current song and video, and added in sister Janet Jackson to sing alongside him.

Jermaine Hall will be the new editor when Vibe Magazine returns with it's November issue. Hall was an editor at King magazine before as well as the Source magazine.
A company named InterMedia Partners purchased the magazine, not Quincy Jones.
The web site will focus on Urban entertainment“regular, daily, hourly, by-minute basis” while the mag will focus on in-depth stories and investigative reporting. The magazine will no longer be monthly but quarterly.-Dr.FB
If Quincy Jones has his way, and Q usually has in his lifetime, Vibe magazine will be his again.
Quincy, who started the magazine in 1992, plans to make it an online publication only. The magazine was in the middle of a Michael Jackson Tribute Issue when they were told they had to shut down. The magazine has been in serious debt for years and with print media becoming a dying breed, it just could not compete.
In other news, Quincy Jones says he does not plan on attending Michael Jackson's private funeral on Sunday. His reason has to do with lately having to bury so many friends lately, it is leaving him sad and he just can't deal with it anymore.
VERY understandable. Quincy was very close to Michael for a huge majority of his life and I am sure he never thought he would be going to his funeral.-Dr.FB
Video is straight star-studded!

Blame it on the alcohol.-Dr.FB
