R. Kelly Joins Phoenix On Stage As An Underwhelming “Coachella Surprise”
So far at Coachella, there has been no hologram 2Pac but the "Coachella Surprise" so far has been R, Kelly joining Phoenix on stage.
The rumor was that Phoenix was going to share the stage with Daft Punk, but it was actually Kelly instead.
R. Kelly performed "Bump & Grind" and "Ignition" and a few others. It was cool but for a "Coachella Surprise" it was.....kinda weak!
Now if it was like a KIIS FM event or something, it would be dope. By Coachella standards.....nope. Thoughts?-DocFB

I was driving in Hollywood the other night trying to escape the heat and I had to turn this up when it came on, full with head bobs and "Shamons" in effect. Kind of like Michael getting down to "Ignition" by R.Kelly.

Is New R. Kelly Song “Feeling Single” Directed Towards His Ex Andrea Kelly?
Back in the day, when R, Kelly performed anywhere, an award show or television appearance, it was sometimes very over the top. His performance of "Feeling Single" on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon showed Kelly can perform stripped down and the only thing he needed was his voice.
No extravagant outfit. His pants stayed on. Although the females at home...their pants may not have been on. The song is good. It is the first R. Kelly song I have liked in a while....yet....you have to wonder....with the title "Feeling Single" and the way he ends it, if it is a message to his ex Andrea Kelly, who is finding her own name and fame on "Hollywood Ex-Wives" with our friend Mayte.
Nonetheless, we are digging the song and if this is what it takes for R. Kelly to be making good music again, I am all for it.

Bring On The Drama! Dina Lohan Joins Ex’s Of Prince & Eddie Murphy On Reality Show

What do you do when a reality show may not be giving you the drama you need? Why, you call Dina Lohan and ask her to be in the mix. That is EXACTLY what VH-1 has done with "Hollywood Exes" a reality show debuting later this year.
We first told you about the show back in March that the show would feature the ex's of Prince, Eddie Murphy, R. Kelly, Will Smith and others.
We had a feeling that Mayte Garcia (Prince's ex) and Nicole Murphy (Eddie Murphy's ex) would be pretty tight-lipped on the show about who they used to be with, and would rather focus on what is going on in their lives now.
We are told that Dina is not exactly a cast member but will be hanging out with the ladies and causing drama. OK, we added the last, but that for sure is what is going to happen. For. Sure.
What won't be happening? Lindsay Lohan, Dina's famous daughter, appearing on the show.
VH-1, won't you go back to playing music videos instead?-DocFB

Brian McKnight Really Does Want To “Show You How Your P**** Works”
Ahh. Brian McKnight. The singer of "One Last Cry", "Anytime", "Back At One" and now...."Let Me Show You How Your Pussy Works" which he put out on youtube. Oh Brian, you crazy guy you.
It would have been better if he put it out without teasing it n singing along with it. He is already stating he wrote it and did it because he is going stir crazy after an injury to his achilles.
Not how your "body" works. Not let me show you how your "box" works. No inventive word play. Just straight down to the cooch.
That's not to say we don't like it. It's a funny like, not like Oh, I gotta put that in a mix n get it on to that song.

Mayte Garcia & Nicole Murphy To Star In New VH1 Show “Hollywood Exes”

The news we hinted at earlier this week, can now be told. Mayte Garcia along with Nicole Murphy, Jessica Canseco, Sheree Fletcher, and Andrea Kelly will star in a VH1 Reality show.
The show has a working title of "Hollywood Exes" and follows the 5 women on their journey without their famous husbands and ex-lovers.
The series will star Nicole Murphy (ex-wife of Eddie Murphy – 13 years), Jessica Canseco (ex-wife of Jose Conseco - 4 years), Sheree Fletcher (ex-wife of Will Smith – 3 years), Mayte Garcia (ex-wife of Prince – 3 years), and Andrea Kelly (ex-wife of R. Kelly – 12 years). “Hollywood Exes” will premiere in the summer of 2012 with 10 one-hour episodes.

Are Kanye & Jay Z Battling For “The Throne” Now?

Even though Kanye West and Jay Z showed up to their listening party last night, we are hearing there is trouble over the "Watch The Throne" CD and tour. Even Kanye had to admit there is something going on.
Kanye said "Yea, we are butting heads a little bit but it is all good."
What is causing the trouble between the rap duo? According to this New York Post article, it is over the upcoming tour. Today, they had to shuffle tour dates. There were to be 2 shows in October at L.A. Staple Center but now there will only be one show and in December.
Kanye wants the tour to be an all out visual effect well Jay Z is trying to keep productions costs low and make his money through his Live Nation deal.
The post reported: "Jay is a stone-cold businessman. He wants to recoup all of his money from Live Nation. But Kanye wants to upstage rock stars with a blowout show. He doesn't care about costs. He has a lot less to gain from the shows."
We smell trouble. Jay Z had a problem when touring with R. Kelly several years ago and Kanye was to tour with Lady Gaga last year but it did not happen, perhaps due to the Taylor Swift heat still or his own ego that Gaga may upstage him. So that's one failed tour for each but at least Jay-Z's did get off the ground.
The Cd "Watch The Throne" drops next Tuesday as a digital release on I-Tunes. As for the tour, right now, although tickets went on sale, I would hold my breathe.-Dr.FB
