Andy Rooney, who retired from 60 Minutes last month, passed away at the age of 92.
He left an immense body of work on television and in print. He was widely respected for his journalism and his call it as he sees it style of reporting.
He will be missed.-DocFB
Diagnosis: The longevity of his career may never be matched.
Seems we may have got suckered in......again.
So after reports of Favre retiring and texting certain teammates "This Is It" it seems Favre may not be retiring. Nope. He was just telling people he was seeing Michael Jackson's "This Is It" and people got confused.
The official word is that Favre nor the Vikings have confirmed Brett Favre is retiring.
It comes off to me that Favre wanted people to talk about him. Let him know he is wanted. The Vikings are offering Favre more money and letting Favre know he is seriously wanted.
The ploy worked. Everyone is talking about Favre on sports radio. Favre is one of the top 5 quarterbacks of all time. No question about it. The Vikings were one game away from the Super Bowl with Favre in place.

Larry King announced via Twitter he is leaving "Larry King Live" after 25 years on CNN.
He did the announcement on Twitter by first saying "It's time to hang up my nightly suspenders." King's ratings have been low but then again, everything on CNN has been low-rated. His contract was up this fall and it was rumored it would not be renewed.
King is taking the high road by saying it is his decision and nothing else influenced his decision. King has told he wants Ryan Seacrest to be his replacement.
From what we hear, Seacreast and "The Views" Joy Behr are in the lead for the job. CNN says they will need 2-4 weeks to make a decision on a replacement.
Keep Piers Morgan in mind. For those that don't know who he is, do a search.
25 years at one job. Larry King is only 76 years old? I thought he was in his 80's easily. What do you think? Was it time for King to retire?-Dr.FB
Brett Favre announced his retirement.......
Is it real this time?
Is it really out of his system? Will it really be a big deal now?-Dr.FB
Well, that is one of the shortest retirements ever. Justin Timberlake last month said while performing in Las Vegas that he will not perform "Sexyback" again, saying he is retiring it.
Well, on Saturday Night Live, guess what song he did at the end of Weekend Update? The video of it on Saturday Night Live is edited but he did Sexyback.
Not even a whole month. He just couldn't do it. Guess I did not get my wish that I would not have to hear that song ever again.-Dr.FB
