Gary Clark Jr. Playing Late Night L.A. Roxy Show 02/09
After consecutive sold out nights at the Troubadour last year, Gary Clark Jr. is returning to Los Angeles to play a late night gig at the Roxy On Sunset.
Tix will go on sale tomorrow, January 30th at 12 P.M.
This is going to be a hot show. It will be talked about leading up to it and it will talked about after in the way of "Were you there the night Gary Clark Jr. put the Roxy on fire?" Trust us, this is a show not to be missed!

Video: Nikka Costa Celebrates Easter; New CD/Tour & Adam Lambert?
Nikka Costa posted a cool rap video based on the Sugar Hill Gang's song for Easter and it's pretty funky!
We wanted to share the video with you and the news that Nikka Costa is set to hit the road again. Right now, the only confirmed date is at The Roxy In Hollywood June 23rd and tix are on sale now!
She has hinted at East Coast dates via her Twitter account OfficialNikka for July. She also announced her new tunes would be out in June as well via Twitter. She also wrote new material with Adam Lambert although both have been hush on what came of it but it appears both are big fans of each other.

Nikka Costa will be performing at the Roxy on Sunset this Thursday night and will be debuting new music from her upcoming album.
Nikka is amazing live and if in Los Angeles, you should most def go. We are hoping to catch up with Nikka before the show and get even more Nikka news for you.
The Funky White Mama is sure to be in effect this Thursday.

Tamar Kaprelian Brings Out The “Sinners & Saints” At L.A. Show
Last week, I was privileged to witness Tamar Kaprelian perform at the Roxy On Sunset. She is quickly becoming one of the doc's new favorites and is definitely a "funkenberry" artist who can sing live and perform.
Tamar was the first artist to perform and the place was packed and a lot of people were there just to see her. Seriously, I have never seen a place so packed for what was considered an opening act. But then again, Kaprelian won't be an opening act for long.
She did an 8 song set which featured 2 covers; Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers "Free Fallin'" and "A Whole New World", yes the Disney Alladin Love song. Don't you dare close your eyes!
The first clip is "New Day" which has been featured a few times on this site. It is after all the latest single, and I am still feeling it. Honestly, when it comes up on my I-pod when I am driving to a party or whatever in L.A., I have to play it a few times.
"Sinner or Saint" is also going to be the next single and you can check out the groove below.
