PRINCE & 3RDEYEGIRL just opened up their Hit & Run Part II UK tour in Birmingham playing a plethora of hits along with "What's My Name" a hardcore fan hit and the unreleased "Electric Intercourse" and "Empty Room".
It is being reported that during "Electric Intercourse" he would just say "Electric" over again but with no intercourse. Hmm.
I just stood 15 feet from Prince as he sang ELECTRIC INTERCOURSE for the first time in 30 years. What is life?

The show was also filmed professionally with multi-cameras via various comments on the Facebook fan page.
Everyday I'm reminded more and more of why I love @3RDEYEGIRL so much

PRINCE wasn't playing when he said he would be returning to the UK/London after simply taking over there for at least a month with surprise shows all over London. There has already been 4 shows announced that will go on sale Friday.
http://www.ticketmaster.co.uk/ and http://www.gigsandtours.com/ already have the shows listed. The news broke over here in the U.S. around 3 in the morning my time and I reached out to confirm the story that The Guardian broke, figuring Prince's people would still be up. Still no response but fairly obvious the icon is coming back!
Only UK dates have been announced...so far. Leaving it as London/UK as more dates will be announced.
There is a lot of room for shows to be added just between the dates and who knows how long he will be out there this time?-DocFB
Diagnosis: Make sure not to miss next week's PRINCE Spreecast where we will be discussing the UK dates and more! We might have to do a special UK Spreecast again in May!
3RDEYEGIRL & PRINCE performed 2 shows at Manchester Academy over the weekend in the UK, and if you believe the critics, it was 2 shows for the ages.
"The audience couldn’t get enough of him and the band. They were up for it from the first rumours. They were hot, sweaty, crushed up close and personal, bathed in love and attraction. He’s worshipped and he deserves it, not only because he’s a great artist, but because he gives it back. He doesn’t just take. Waves of passion and ecstatic love, joyous emotion and a real connection. You could say we all came together."-LouderThanWar
“Prince played many instruments at the gig — guitar, bass and piano and played a mix of his hits such as Purple Rain, When Doves Cry and Raspberry Beret, as well as classic album tracks and B-sides such as She's Always In My Hair, Endorphinmachine, Musicology and Bambi".-BoltonNews
"Manchester loves Prince and Prince loves Manchester"-HBF
"Dispensing with the expanded dancers 'n' singers 'n' brass players 'n' guest stars line ups of recent years, his current 3RDEYEGIRL band comprises himself, the astonishingly skilled trio of Donna Grantis, Ida Nielsen and Hannah Welton on guitar, bass and drums respectively, and rarely-mentioned sometime fifth member Joshua Welton bouncing around from keyboards to percussion to, well, jumping up and down and grinning (as you would). It's also notable that he shares the guitar limelight with Grantis, to a degree he has with nobody since Wendy Melvoin, and hands her lead duties on several of his signature guitar heroics tracks, an opportunity she does audacious things with."-TheQuietUs
"Dig, if you will, a picture, of more than 2,500 dazed humans spilling out into a Manchester street after having their hearts, minds and assorted other body parts well and truly blown."-Mirror
"Prince and his fantastic new female band 3EDEYEGIRL have been onstage in this 2,600-capacity venue for seconds under three hours, and yet he looks and sounds for all the world as if he's just getting started."-Guardian

Diagnosis: Acoustic PRINCE along with Q&A, as promised....
PRINCE & 3RDEYEGIRL held 2 press conferences where details of a UK Tour were to be unveiled. Instead were 2 rare performances and the question of UK gigs to come sometime today, Wednesday.
The first was a press conference in Lianne La Havas's living room where La Havas performed "Little Dragons" twice and a new song as well, according to BBC News 6.
They only had 3 journalists there as 3RDEYEGIRL performed an acoustic version of "FUNKNROLL" and "PRETZELBODYLOGIC" for the small crowd, in the small flat.

On 3RDEYEGIRL, Prince LOVES the band: "We've been together for over a year and it's perfect. The more we play, the more fun it is, and addictive it is.'' Prince would say that they would jam for days with ping pong battles sprinkled in between sessions.
They do not not know how long they will be in the UK and said it is an open-ended stay.
"We want to charge about $10 a ticket. This is a new band, people are getting something new."-Prince. Ticket price was quoted by BBC.
Prince is NOT playing Glastonbury.
They are looking to record the live shows for release while there.

They played a 30 minute set that consisted of "I Could Never Take The Place Of Your Man", "PLECTRUMELECTRUM", "PRETZELBODYLOGIC", and a cover of "Play That Funky Music."
Prince was in a very good mood and loved the energy of the crowd.
There will be another performance tonight with a countdown of 7 P.M. at the Electric Ballroom. Although they said it would be a longer night and start earlier, we are not sure if they will exactly start at 7 P.M.-DocFB

PRINCE will be bringing a "Hit & Run" style tour to the UK next month with the first stop being Lianne La Havas's living room!
The press conference for the tour it seems will take place in her living room as she jokingly offered it up to the icon before and he took her up on it!
La Havas told the Guardian: "It is pretty unbelievable that Prince is coming to my house but it is true!"
Lianne also tweeted about the news:
Right now I'm shopping for cheap deals in @asda and Prince is coming to my house. Bye.
