A Week After R.E.M. Breaks Up, The Greatest Hits Set Is Revealed
After 31 years together, R.E.M. has broken up. What do you do after a break up? Release a greatest hits package.
If that is really the official cover of the upcoming 2 cd greatest hits spanning 31 years, the fans really are getting screwed.
R.E.M. will release Part Lies, Part Heart, Part Truth, Part Garbage, 1982 - 2011, on Warner Bros. Records on November 15th, 2011. The album is a 40-song career-spanning retrospective that collects, for the first time ever, songs from R.E.M.'s entire back catalog, including the pioneering American band's years on both the IRS label (1982 to 1987) and Warner Bros. Records (1988 to 2011).
For those that want to, you can pre-order the album HERE.

Van Halen Set To Leave Warner Bros. After 35 Years?
It has not been officially announced but it looks like Van Halen is about to leave Warner Bros. Records after 35 years together.
HitsDailyDouble.com is reporting the signing. David Lee Roth, Eddie Van Halen, Alex Van Halen, and Wolfgang Van Halen have been recording together for the better part of a year.
The band was to perform in Australia this month, but have since backed out. There is no status on tour dates although we have heard that they do plan to tour with the upcoming album in 2012.
The announcement of leaving Warner Bros. for Columbia may be delayed due to the news of R.E.M. breaking up and are signed to Warner Bros. as well.-DocFB

New Batman “The Dark Knight Rises” Movie Poster Released!
It does not come out for a whole year, but that is not stopping Warner Bros. Pictures from releasing a movie poster for it now. "The Dark Knight Rises" is the 3rd Batman movie to be directed by Christopher Nolan and star Christian Bale as the caped crusader straight out of the DC Comics made famous by Bob Kane.
Falling skyscrapers in the shape of the bat. Hmm. This Dark Knight will be different as he will be a wanted man by the police for the "murder" of Two-Face, Harvey Dent. Although no one knew the monster that Dent became as to protect him. There is no actual guarantee that Dent is actually dead either.
Joseph Gordon-Levitt has been chosen for the role of "The Riddler" although Nolan will still not confirm that is the role that Joseph has been cast for. They were first looking for Johnny Depp to play the role of the Riddler but I think Gordon-Levitt is perfect. Levitt stared with the late Heath Ledger in the movie "10 Things I Hate About You" so there is a connection between the stars and the Dark Knight Trilogy.
The movie also stars Anne Hathaway (Who is very excited to be attached to the filming and blown away during the first few weeks of filming) and Oscar winner Marion Cotillard. Also in the movie will be Liam Neeson, , Tom Hardy, Michael Caine, Juno Temple, and Morgan Freeman.
It may not open until July 20th, 2012 but the Doc is looking forward to making sure he has no surgeries or appointments that day.-Dr.FB
Diagnosis: Will Crush Transformers 3 Records Quickly
Update: Levitt Is Playing The Role Of Alberto Falcone

Why Was Charlie Sheen “Borrowing” $10 Million From Warner Bros.?
So, after Charlie Sheen signed what turned out to be his last contract for "2 And A Half Men" where he was making $2 million an episode, he was taking a loan of $10 million dollars from Warner Bros., the producers of the show, with interest. Why?
Sheen was paying close to $800,000 per paycheck and paid off the loan by episode 14, and got fired by episode 16. Was Charlie in money trouble or was he making sure he was getting $10 million guaranteed from Warner Bros.?
People forget that Charlie did not want to sign on for a 7th season of the show in the first place. I highly doubt he was/is in money trouble because no matter his habits, he couldn't have been blowing that much away.....right?-Dr.FB

Warner Bros.: We Will Get Charlie Sheen To Make A Deal

Charlie and Brooke Sheen www.blogspot.com
Warner Bros. is confident that they will get Charlie Sheen to sign on for 2 more years of "2 and half men" and said Charlie not being signed has happened before but they will handle it.
It seems the difference in money is about 500,000 as Charlie wants $1.5 million and Warners is offering $ 1 million.
We have a feeling that Warner Bros. will get Charlie to sign.-Dr.FB
