Andy Allo performed "People Pleaser" on Fox's Chicago Morning Show this Morning and also talked about the Rebuild The Dream foundation and the last "Welcome 2 Chicago" date which is tonight.
Andy says this is not the show to miss. We would have to agree with Janelle Monae going to be in the mix.
Andy also took a few questions from the morning hosts about what it has been like this past week in Chicago and performing with Prince. For the interview and performance and "Superconductor" release info and a photo of Prince and Andy jamming, click on the continue reading button below.
Night 2 of PRINCE's "Welcome 2 Chicago" tour featured such classics such as "I Could Never Take The Place Of Your Man", "Shhh", and "She's Always In My Hair" and then powerful version of "Nothing Compares 2 U" with Chicago's own Jennifer Hudson.
His afterjam was nothing short of spectacular at the House of Blues kicking off a high energy set with "Days of Wild" and "Dance Electric" and also featured Hannah Ford, the special guest drummer for the NPG, along with John Blackwell.
Also, if you attended the House of Blues afterjam on Monday, you can attend the concert tonight at the United Center for FREE! For more details, click here!

As was posted earlier, Prince was going to do everything he could do to rectify what happened on Monday. So on that note, everyone who was at the House of Blues show Monday is now going to be able to go to the United Center Show Wednesday.
Emails for ticket-holders should have already started going out. Just bring your I.D. along with your House of Blues ticket for Monday's show and they will give you a non-transferable ticket to the show starting at 5 p.m., when gates open.
We have heard from those in attendance at Tuesday's United Center show that the sound was much better. He also did a killer performance of "I Could Never Take The Place Of Your Man" and also for good measure "Shhh", "She's Always In My Hair" and a duet of "Nothing Compares 2 U" with Chicago native Jennifer Hudson.
Also, the Mayor just cleared PRINCE to play as long as he wants at the House of Blues shows!!!-DocFB
PRINCE kicked off his "Welcome 2 Chicago" shows with Questlove and George Lopez getting shout outs.
Wow. While rehearsing for his "Welcome 2 Chicago" tour dates, Prince & The NPG along with his 11 piece horn section, Prince sent in this beautiful and powerful rendition of "Old Friends 4 Sale" that is stunning to the ears.
To my knowledge, this song has never been performed live. Some of you may know the history of the song, being recorded in the 80's, and before an official version was released in the late 90's, the lyrics were changed. The story goes that the lyrics were too personal, so they were changed. There is a lyric change here as well.
If this is the kind of songs and instrumentation that Chicago can look forward to, these shows are going to be amazing.
I would like to thank PRINCE & The NPG for allowing us to share this with you exclusively. Absolutely beautiful. Very nice.
What do you think of the rehearsal jam of "Old Friends 4 Sale" by PRINCE & The NPG?-DocFB

PRINCE did his first TV interview in over a year and when the ladies of "The View" were not giving him praise, he actually talked.
Prince talked about his upcoming "Welcome 2 Chicago" shows and if he really is shy or if he is a certain way around Barbara Walters.
In the second part of the interview, he was with the lovely and talented Rosario Dawson and Van Jones, who runs the "Rebuild The Dream" charity that Prince is donating some of the profits of the "Welcome 2 Chicago" dates to.

With the news of Prince having a new guest drummer in Hannah Ford, we knew it wouldn't be long until news of an upcoming tour would be happening. Within hours, "Welcome 2 Chicago" appears to be happening.
Prince reportedly will be taking residency at the United Center in Chicago starting September 24th and and with tickets going on sale September 6th.
The residency will also be used to support Rebuild the Dream, the organization founded by Van Jones that seeks to “build strong vibrant communities and to fix our economy from the ground up.”
“We couldn’t be more excited about partnering with a legend like Prince,” said Van Jones, Co-founder and President of Rebuild the Dream. “Our economic system is broken. Rebuild the Dream exists to unite arts and organize into a potent force to support the Dreams of Our Communities. There are few artists who have Prince’s unwavering commitment to a vision of a sustainable, fair economic future.”
Rebuild the Dream is a platform for bottom-up, people-powered innovations to help fix the economy not just here in the U.S. but Globally as well. Using 21st-century digital technology, we advance highly inventive solutions that are designed to protect and expand our communities, while creating pathways to prosperity for those who are locked out of it. Our goal is to put People back to work–and pull our communities back together.
