Wow. An NFL team actually signed Michael Vick. The Philadelphia Eagles signed Michael Vick to a two year contract. Guess we know now where PETA will be protesting.
He will get $1.6 million this year and if they resign him, $5.2 million next year.
Michael Vick served 23 months in prison for the killing of dogs and dog fighting.

Posted at 13:24h, 14 Augusthey if the guy ‘sees’ what he did was ‘wrong’ than we might be able to respect that, i see alot of ‘respectable’ people out there in the field and alot of you get at them and move on. liking them again. it don’t matter to me what this guy did was wrong. as long as this guy ‘knows’ that he hurted animals and hurt other people, i might be able to respect that. obviously he’s not wanting to do that again, shows there is some good in him after all. what is black wants to go back, what is white becomes tight.

Posted at 09:44h, 14 AugustWow, he got a job so soon after leaving jail i see. I thought the Eagles had McNabb as their main QB? We’ll see. As for whether he should be back in the NFL, I don’t know. I’m not in to Football that deep to be that involved but everyone does deserve a second chance. Time will tell if the Eagles made the right choice.

With that being said the man served more jail time than Donte Stallworth, Leonard Little, Brian Blades, and Ray Lewis combined – and THEY ALL KILLED PEOPLE and resumed (or in Stallworth’s case will resume in 2010) their NFL careers with little or no protest. How does that work out?

Both have been done for hundreds of years in the southern part of OUR COUNTRY! He did his time!
STOP BEING A FREAKING HIPOCRIT. We still allow celebs to make movies, even though we know they’re drug and alcohol abusers. We welcom them back. Remember, Robert Downy, Britney Spears, Courtney Love, etc. No one stopped Elvis nor Michael Jackson. We’re making them LEGENDS! We’re still encouraged to by they’re music.

Tell me if this sounds right vick killed dogs and gets a year and change in jail, stallworth kills a person and gets a month and only serves about 20 days and you don’t hear anyone complaning about that. Sorry but that really pisses me off. Well as for the team I’m a huge eagles fan as this is a great signing. Not only does this add another weapon to an already dangerous roster but it’s also some insurance to mr. Mcnabb who the past years has spent more time in the sidelines then on the field. Sorry cowboy fans it’s over ac432 out.

Everybody deserves a second chance? Really? So murderers deserve a second chance too? That’s BS! Letting back into the NFL just tells people that they tolerate animal cruelty. I hope PETA gives them hell.
