Confirmed: Adam Lambert To Perform Concert With Queen

Adam Lambert will be the singer of Queen this summer for at least once concert. Queen’s Brian May and Roger Taylor confirmed the news this morning.

Rumors were circulating for the past month that Adam was the new lead singer and that also they were going to tour with Lambert this year.

What will happen on July 7th is on the 2nd day of the Sonisphere Festival, Adam will be the frontman for Queen. The event takes place in Knebworth Park in Stevenage, north of London.

Adam performed with Queen last Fall at the MTV European Video Music Awards to celebrate Queen’s Golden Icon Award.

Adam Lambert will have a new album out this Spring entitled “Trespassing” which was due for release in March but has since been pushed back.

    The man does not disappoint… and so I will be attending the Sonisphere Festival on July 7th for Queen + Adam Lambert. Already bought my ticket! (Just sayin’!)

    The only thing that could make this @adamlambert @QueenWillRock collab better is if they record a live cd/dvd of the event!
