Adam Lambert's "Trespassing" CD is due for release for late Spring, and from the 4 sample tracks we just heard, our prediction of this being one of the hottest CD releases of the year is dead on.
Just when we thought the male pop star is dead, Adam Lambert proves us wrong. "Cuckoo", "Trespassing", "Naked Love", and "Never Close Our Eyes" are pop hits waiting to happen. "Cuckoo" needs to be the next single; stat!
The new Madonna video "Girl Gone Wild" has officially been released and aside from a cool looking dance effect and that her alter ego Dita is back, it is still the Madonna of old.
When I say Madonna of old, I mean several gay men dancing around her but this time in heels....which doesn't exactly remind me of Prince in heels dancing but more like when Saturday Night Live did a parody of "Single Ladies" by Beyonce.
Madonna looks hot. Let's get that out of the way. Girl can work at 53 like she did at 33. She is not going to lose her gay following regardless of Lady Gaga and her fans smashing on her every chance she gets. I've seen this before is all. Someone said if it isn't broke, why fix it?
The reason perhaps is because she was an innovator, especially of the music video format. Her hotness and the dancing effect, I like. Everything else is a Madonna cliché that has worked before. Although, again, the men in heels just remind me of that Justin Timberlake "Single Ladies" skit.-DocFB
Jada Pinkett-Smith released "Burn" on Valentine's Day and released the video today, performing with her band Wicked Evolution.
The song is dedicated to her husband Will Smith and she professes "It is the beginning of a new love for my husband" as divorce rumors swirl around the couple every few months.
The Hollywood power couple has been married for 17 years and was seen recently being very much in love at a Philadelphia 76er's game.
We are rooting for the couple. As for the song, "Burn" it is very good. Easily my favorite that I have heard of Jada. Hopefully, this is a new direction in her music career as well.-DocFB
Chris Rene, the X Factor contestant has fixed his grill and released a video for "Young Homie" his first video.
When he is not wearing his hat, he looks completely unrecognizable. The work he did on his teeth is almost as amazing as his background story.
I can't imagine a group of people throwing up those signs in the video, but I am digging the song, and the positive message. The title makes me glad there is no longer record stores so I don't have to ask the clerk where "Young Homie" by Chris Rene is at.
Everything else is working and props to L.A. Reid for striking first with X Factor talents.-DocFB
