07 Aug Nelly Furtado Prefers Timberlake Over Bieber; Calls Odd Future The Next Nirvana
Nelly Furtado’s “The Spirit Indestructible” is due out September 18th and she sat down with our friends at Swagger New York to discuss her new album and why she prefers Justin Timberlake over Justin Bieber and why she thinks Odd Future is the next Nirvana.
Mind you, Odd Future consists of Tyler The Creator and Frank Ocean, whom I’m sure you heard of this summer. It also consists of Hodgy Beats, Earl Sweatshirt, Domo Genesis, and Mike G.
It is surprising to me since she is Canadian, that she chose Timberlake over Bieber.
She also takes time to talk about her new album and if she likes to wear “Big Hoops” as her song suggests.
She talks about the good she does like building schools in Africa. Very cool of her.
