The 3rd Eye Girl has struck again! 3rdEyeGirl.com has released “That Girl Thang” from PRINCE, a stripped down number, after releasing “Boyfriend” (demo) on Friday.

3rdEyeGirl.com also teased the release of “L.O.L. (Live Out Loud) with Hannah Ford, Donna Grantis, and Ida Nielsen talking and being asked “Who is the 3rd Eye Girl” for which they have no answer for.

    I’m digging the free-fall of the 3rdEyeGirl songs. The stripped-down “simplicity” of That Girl Thang as it follows Screwdriver, Breakfast Can Wait and Boyfriend does paint quite the picture of someone deeply affected with a condition of the heart–how does Prince capture so purely, in lyrical and musical composition, the raw emotions of the senses? Thank you for sharing your words and thoughts.

    That cheesy video clip is better left unwatched. Just a lame, goofy game where Prince is playing the audience, thinking we don’t know HE is “3rdeyegirl”. Having his ladies sit there acting ignorant of WHO “3rdeyegirl” is, is just that…ignorant. You’d think Prince and band would have better things to do with their time than make dumb video clips like this. While some may think it’s cute, clever and hilarious…I don’t.

    Once again…PRINCE is “3rdeyegirl”. Comprende?

    I’m not sold on the buying songs from 3rdeyegirl.com way because on the 15th, I purchased 4 songs: Screwdriver remix, Breakfast can wait, RNR remix 7, and Boyfriend Demo, paying 3.52 through Paypal. I get the receipt with download links in my in box. Clicked on all four only to be told: “Invalid Link, Go to Homepage->”. Go to Homepage only to have the song titles with 88 cent price tag staring up at me. Looks like I got played. There’s no link to contact any “customer support” so, you know what? Prince may be innovative and going about HIS way so he can collect all the coins, but by not going through more commercial means to get songs to fans, people like me are feeling ripped off. No way I’m buying those songs again. Looks like I’ll be getting mines for free now from other Prince fans or from blogspots around the net. 3rdeyegirl ripped me off once. They ain’t gonna rip me off twice. Good luck, P. Looks like 3rdeyegirl has more problems than a third eye. More like a three legged stepchild to me.

    having same problem… dl a file called THAT with no extension, and when i try to play it nothing, and when i try to change it to wav … it plays nothing… i have been ripped off on this one
