So it seems a skit at the Oscars which was to feature Sacha Baron Cohen and Ben Stiller where they poke fun at Avatar is not going to happen.

This because the Academy does not want to upset James Cameron. 

When asked about the skit last night, James Cameron said to go ahead and do the skit and he was not aware it had been cut. 

One has to wonder if the Academy will change it’s mind and let the skit stay now.

The stars came out for U2 at the Rose Bowl over the weekend as close to a 100,000 people attended the concert. David Beckham, Demi Moore, Ben Stiller, Kellan Lutz, Colin Farrel, Paris Hilton & Doug Reinhardt were in attendance………

Morrissey collapsed onstage at a concert in Swindon, UK and was rushed to the hospital for breathing difficulties. Morrissey has had a few health problems on this tour but I am told he is stable and is OK. I hope so. No word on any other shows getting cancelled or postponed at this time……

The Terminator has one movie to pass to make number 1 and it couldn’t do it.  What stood in Christian Bale’s path?  Ben Stiller.

It was a dismal Memorial Day Weekend and it is because there was no salvation for the Terminator.  Grossing $53 million over the weekend and $67 million over 5 days, it was out performed in less days by Stiller’s “Night At The Museum 2″ pulling in $70 million in just 4 days. 

A lot of people I know did not see the movie because there was no Ahhhhnold.  If people thought Terminator opened up poorly, wait til June 5th to see “Land Of The Lost” bomb.-Dr.FB

“This year, for the first time ever, we entrusted you with the task of selecting the MTV Movie Awards nominees,” MTV.com exclaims, “and…you did not disappoint!”

Indeed.

Twilight took the most nominations this year, including Best Picture, Best Breakthrough Performance (one for Robert Pattinson, one for Taylor Lautner), and Best Female Performance (Kristen Stewart), but in a surprise twist, the vampire baseball scene was somehow excluded from brand new category Best WTF Moment. Noms in that category went to Ben Stiller for sampling severed head in Tropic Thunder, Ayush Mahesh Khedekar for diving into doo-doo in Slumdog Millionaire, and Amy Poehler for peeing in the sink in Baby Mama. 

Voting begins today in all categories on the MTV website here, and the winners will be announced at the live broadcast 9pm EST / 6pm PST on May 31. The show will be hosted by Andy Samberg.
