Leroy Bell Covers Adele On X Factor

Leroy Bell covered Adele's version of "Make You Feel My Love" written by Bob Dylan on X Factor.

Bell is 60 years old and it is hard to believe he has yet to ever be signed to a label with a voice as soulful as his.

It's pure. It's soulful. It's beautiful. He looks good for 60 I must say.

Nicole Sherzinger is really picking the right songs. L.A. Reid could learn something from her. Just saying.-DocFB

Josh Krajcik Takes It To Another Level On XFactor

Nicole Sherzinger again impressed me with her song choice for Josh Krajcik on X Factor.

Krajcik performed "First Time I Ever Saw Your Face" by Roberta Flack with Nicole and Enrique Iglesias watching on.

He still reminds me of Joe Cocker with his vocal delivery and power.  One of our favorite auditions so far.

What do you think?-DocFB

James Kenney Performs “Russian Roulette” By Rihanna On X Factor

I needed to hear more. James Kenney performed "Russian Roulette" by Rihanna on X Factor last night.

Nicole Sherzinger picked a hard song but James was killing it...but to only hear a minute of it? Hard to judge.

I think he made it but I needed more. Way too short.

What do you think of his version of the Rihanna jam?-DocFB

Diagnosis: Shorter than roulette in Vegas

Stacy Francis Performs & Kills Prince’s “Purple Rain” On X Factor

Covering Prince is not the easiest thing to do, but Stacy Francis covered "Purple Rain" on X Factor pleasantly last night.

Nicole Sherzinger picked this song for Stacy, which was a ballsy call because, as I said, it is hard to cover Prince. She brought it. She has the vocals and in some places, she used her voice where it wasn't exactly needed, but it was great.

Many have tried to cover "Purple Rain" and failed.  Badly.  Yes, Leann Rimes, I'm talking about you.  Stacy is on to the next round.  No.  Doubt.  About. It.

Stacy Francis gets the funk pass.

Let's see; A Prince wannabe in the first few rounds of X Factor.  A former protegé auditioned.  Now, Stacy Francis covers "Purple Rain" by Prince.  3 Princely things in 4 weeks.  I am saying it again.  I will be surprised if we do not see Prince on X Factor sometime during this season.  & he knows it, I don't know Y.-DocFB

Dexter Haywood Performs Beyonce’s “Crazy In Love” On X Factor

Dexter Haywood channeled his inner Mick Jagger instead of James Brown this time for "Crazy In Love" by Beyonce on X Factor.

Nicole Sherzinger picked "Crazy In Love" by Beyonce for Dexter and I think it was not the best choice. Enrique Iglesias seemed confused by it.

Man, to see Dexter cry at the end was hard and heartbreaking. I really felt that Nicole did not pick the best song for him and on that, I hope he passes to the next round.

What did you think of Dexter's perfomance?-DocFB

It's taking a woman to fill Enrique Igelsias's shoes.  Nicki Minaj is in serious talks to be the opening act for Britney Spear's upcoming tour.

A tour called the "Femme Fatale" tour should have an opening act be a woman, don't you think?

Minaj is currently opening up for Lil Wayne on his "I Am Still Music" tour, which closes May 1st.

Look for an official announcement around that time.-DrFB
