It's back! The video premiered at tonight's opening ceremony for the Winter Olympics in Vancouver. Quincy Jones and Lionel Richie got singers together after the Grammy Awards to re-record the song as a benefit for Haiti.
It was a star-studded affair with artists from all different genres of music addnig vocals for the track including Jennifer Hudson, Lil Wayne, Jamie Foxx, Barbra Streisand and Celine Dion.
Michael Jackson was one of the original writers and vocalists when they recorded 25 years ago. They kept his original part in the current song and video, and added in sister Janet Jackson to sing alongside him.
What do you guys think of the song and video? -Dr.FB
Not only did Angelina Jolie donate $ 1 million dollars to Haiti relief by giving to Doctors Without Borders, she is also in Haiti, visiting hospitals and having meetings with officials.
OK, do some celebs deserve to get crap talked about them? Yes. Are some stars like Angelina Jolie way over exposed? Heaven yes. I rather talk about what she is doing in Haiti than if she is still together with Brad Pitt or not.
Also, Sandra Bullock donated $ 1 million dollars as well and Jennifer Aniston did as well. At least they are trying to do the right thing with their money.
I hope we never have a horrible earthquake in California, although the chances are high, but if it ever does happen, I am sure that the stars will open their hearts n wallets to help us out as well.-Dr.FB
Lady Gaga took over New York over the weekend performing 4 sold out shows and last night's show, ALL the proceeds, ticket sales, merch went to Haiti.
Our friend, G, went to the concert. Now, G had passed on seeing Gaga before and did not really understand all the hype surrounding her. I am sure he rolled his eyes on how much I have covered her since her debut. Did last night change his mind?
"I take back every negative thing I’ve ever said about Ms. Gaga (aside from her mediocre song lyrics). She’s made me a fan!"
For G's full review and more pictures, go to his site HERE and show him some love. Thanks G for the pics for the site and glad you enjoyed Gaga. What Gaga outfit will you be wearing next time you see her?-Dr.FB
