Prince played the House of Blues Wednesday night and brought along enough star power to rival the American Idol Finale!
Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes, Charlie Sheen, David Spade, Dan Akroyd, Dr. Cornel West, Tavis Smiley, Tony Kanal of No Doubt, Sanna Hamri, and later in the night, Bono.
The celebs went crazy with Prince as he did his classics such as "U Got The Look", "Mountains" and "Let's Work" along with a new song called "U Will Be With Me" that impressed the audience. Tom Cruise and others were on the move all night.
After the show, Tom reached over to Katie with a huge smile on his face. Charlie Sheen did not want to mingle with the Hollywood elite on the 2nd floor and chose to instead chill by the soundboard on the first floor. Very interesting. This was one of Charlie's first public appearances since Ashton Kutcher was named to replace him on "2 and Half Men." Only Prince can bring Charlie out.
Later in the night, Bono joined in the fun watching Prince play until 4 in the morning!
Prince has 3 more shows at the Forum this Weekend in L.A., Friday Saturday and Sunday. We can't think of a better way to spend Memorial Day Weekend then partying with Prince. Good seats are still available on Ticketmaster.com-Dr.FB

Prince pulled a trifecta at the House of Blues Wednesday night, providing over 8 hours of rock, funk, and soul that entertained, mesmerized, frustrated, and added to Prince's legend as the greatest living live musician of all time.
Prince took the stage after 9 P.M. and the upstairs area had more star power than American Idol that night with Tom Cruise, Katy Holmes, Tony Kanal of No Doubt, Dan Akroyd, Dr. Cornel West, Sanna Hamri,Tavis Smiley, Charlie Sheen, David Spade, Kelis, and later in the night, Bono.

"This Is It" producer Dannie Ortega and Katie Holmes were a few of the stars that came out for the "Dizzy Feet" charity event at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood on Sunday.
I was invited to the event that is “to help underprivileged young people realize their dream of becoming professional dancers.” but had to pass. This was the first year for the Nigel Lythgoe event for the Dizzy Feet Foundation but I am told it will be an annual event.
Hopefully, my schedule next time will be clear. I did want to speak with Nigel and Katie and did want to have a not so heated conversation with Ortega about a few MJ related things but that can wait for another time.
Katie Holmes attended the 2009 Elle Women In Hollywood Tribute event last night and she wore an outfit for attention, that's for sure.
Just one question; did anyone really care to see Katie wearing that? Not me. What has Katie been up to? She is filming a movie right? Her career is red hot right? Well, Tom Cruise was nowhere in sight last night right?
At least some things are looking up for Katie then.-Dr.FB
Fox's "So You Think You Can Dance" found out that a tribute show they had planned for Michael Jackson will all Michael Jackson numbers has been turned down by Michael's record label Sony.
Nigel Lythgoe, the shows producer, is more than a little peeved.
"Sony said they would look at it, tell us what tracks you want cleared. Paula Abdul said she wanted to choreograph a few numbers, Wade Robeson (who Michael discovered) and they came back yesterday and said sorry we are not going to clear anything for these types of shows. I don't really know what they meant by these types of shows are but as far as I am concerned Michael puts his music out in a public forum gives his music to the people and for the fans and now they are saying no, you can't use it for a dance show. It's very upsetting"
Now, was Sony being controlling or did they think that the show was trying to capitilize on his death? Knowing Nigel, I think he was trying to do a serious dance tribute to Michael Jackson. They already have Katie Holmes booked in a few weeks for ratings anyway and "So You Think You Can Dance" has been a summer hit again for Fox.
American Idol got approval this year to do a MJ themed show when he was alive. One has to wonder what is going on with the control of his music now that he has passed.-Dr.FB
Tom Cruise has been making appearances for his new movie "Valkyrie" and has been looking kind of normal.
Ahh, here we go where you all think I am attacking Tom. Listen, before Tom started jumping on couches, before professing crazy love for Katie Holmes, before attacking Brooke Shields for taking drugs for post-partum depression and getting into an argument with Matt Lauer, Tom Cruise was the man of Hollywood.
From Risky Business, Rain Man, Cocktails, The Firm, A Few Good Men, and Jerry Macguire, you just could not touch him. Then, he made Scientology his career to spread the message of L. Ron Hubbard. In the past few days, Tom has been looking and coming off as more normal with conversations and even apologizing to Matt on the Today show yesterday.
You can't attack someone for religious beliefs and I have not attacked Tom for that before. What I have went off on before is when you tell someone what they should believe in and do. You can call Tom weird. Heck, you can call me weird. I sure am. The difference is not to come off as a kook. I just want Tom to be talked about for movie roles and not for what he is doing or preaching.
"Valkyrie" may not be his return to box office prominence, but he is making the most of it's public appearances.-Dr.FB
Jennifer Lopez & Marc Anthony re-wed over this weekend in Las Vegas.
It has been four years since they have been married and wanted to renew their vows. The had the Ceremony at Caesars Palace’s Forum Tower Penthouse. People.com reports exclusively that it was only attended by two close friends.
Hmm. Where was Tom Cruise this weekend? I am sure he has been in New York with Katie & Surie. Hmmm. Was it Will & Jada Smith? Not scientologists...yet. Maybe it was Lea Remi on her husband. Just a note, nothing has been said this was a scientologist wedding, but why 4 years? I could understand 5. I could understand 10. But 4? Really? Maybe it was Jason Lee & Beck. You tell me. Regardless. 4 years in the industry is like 50 in real life. Congrats you two, but I still say something is fishy.-Dr.FB
Update: PEOPLE also reports that New York Mets slugger Carlos Beltran and his wife Jessica also renewed their vows in the ceremony.-Dr.FB
