Will.I.Am is not messing around with what he feels is his brand, even if it is a friend. Will is suing Pharrell over the words "I Am" and claiming the copyright is owned by him.
OK. Should we be calling this Miguel-gate or "Leg Drop" central? We clearly need a name for this.
Miguel has stated through his reps that Billboard producers never warned him not to jump during his performance, contrary to what they have stated.
Miguel made the jump twice in rehearsals and his people claim that Billboard wanted to know if he would do the jump again so their cameras could get it. The cameras did get the jump pretty good.
Khyati Shah, the girl he leg dropped in the head is claiming she may have possible brain damage and is waiting for results from tests before possibly pursuing a lawsuit.
Billboard producers gave Shah an ice bag for her elbow after the incident but did not receive any medical care.-DocFB
Diagnosis: A different kind of hit on Billboard....
Miguel was warned by producers of the Billboard Music Awards during rehearsals not to jump into the crowd. Miguel did it anyway and ended up "leg dropping" a girl who is now claiming brain damage and could be suing Miguel.
Khyati Shah is the fan who was injured. Her lawyer Vip Bhola is upset with Miguel and Billboard for the attention she received, only getting an ice pack for her elbow and was not even taken to the hospital for evaluation.
Shah is waiting for neurological tests that she took to come back before filing the lawsuit. That should be sometime next week.
Billboard reaching out to outlets such as TMZ to say they warned him is protecting them, leaving Miguel libel for a lawsuit.-DocFB
Diagnosis: Billboard puts Miguel on the spot....
The fan that Miguel leg dropped at the Billboard Music Awards is claiming she may have brain damage, according to her lawyer.
The victim, Khyati Shah, is telling the lawyer as well that she is having persistent medical issues. They are awaiting neurological test results and after that will decide if she will file a lawsuit.
Vip Bhola, Shah's lawyer, attacked Billboard by saying they gave a pathetic gesture by just giving her an ice pack after Miguel slammed into her.
Miguel has been silent on Twitter and Billboard has yet to make a formal announcement.-DocFB
Diagnosis: Wait for results or settle?
Remember that Chris Brown/Drake nightclub brawl in New York where both crews were throwing bottles at each other and cutting up the guests with the shattered glass? Well, Chris Brown and Drake are now suing each other over who started the fight first.
Romain Julien, a French model, filed complaints against both singers for injuries he suffered that night which prompted both to sue each other.
NBA star Tony Parker was also injured the ruckus.
The NY Night Club W.i.P. is suing both stars stating both"ordered security personnel, bodyguards, friends and entourages to join the fight, which erupted into a violent brawl on a massive scale."
The singers have more money than they know what to do with. Too bad neither have enough to pay for the damages to those injured and move on from this.-DocFB
Diagnosis: Did Marvin Gaye & Rick James have battles like this?
LMFAO are being sued for $7 million dollars by their former managers.
The uncle and nephew team of Stefan “Redfoo’” Gordy and Skyler “SkyBlu” Gordy, have been sued by bosses at personal management company RPM GRP, who state the band signed a deal with them in 2008 but later disregarded the contract and hired two of the firm’s former employees to manage them instead.
The lawsuit was filed in Santa Monica and served to Redfoo yesterday before taping "American Idol" and he posed for a picture with the legal papers.
“LMFAO has thanked the managers who took them from ’0 to 60′ by throwing them under the tour bus (i.e. firing them). Instead of hiring new managers, LMFAO then poached two employees of the original managers, hiring them on a salary instead of paying a commission to the original managers.”
We trust there is nothing to LMFAO about the papers but we have a feeling they will still be party rocking no matter the outcome.-DocFB
