New York City's very own SKATERS have announced that they will hit the road for a spring headlining tour presented by FILTER in support of their debut album Manhattan, which will be released by Warner Bros. Records on February 25th.
Following appearances at SXSW 2014, the tour will begin in Santa Ana, Calif., on March 18th and finishes up in Philadelphia on April 4th.
Before the U.S. tour begins, SKATERS will celebrate the release of Manhattan with a hometown album party show at The Bowery Ballroom the night before the album street date on February 24th. They will then leave for the U.K., where they have amassed a loyal following, for a string of shows.
The Skaters have released a music video for their latest single "Miss Teen Massachusetts" with their new album "Manhattan" being released on February 25th.
SKATERS, who signed to WBR in early 2013 are a dynamic New York City band on the cusp of releasing their highly anticipated debut next month. The band garnered early attention for their energetic live shows, original EP (the lead track of which is featured on Manhattan) and involvement in the NYC creative community including DIY publication of the popular art zine YONKS. They have been championed by publications like VICE, Blackbook, Paste, MTV and Filter as well as BBC internationally.-DocFB

Robert Pattinson is close to finishing up filming of his latest movie "Remember Me" in good ole New York City. Inside sources, not us, are saying Robert cannot wait to get out of New York. Guess he rather be filming "Twilight" and "New Moon" perhaps?
They are saying it has just been hard for him with the paparazzi and the New York scene. Shoot, he almost got run over by a cab last month. I could understand where the frustration, if it is true, is coming from.
He hasn't looked his usual happy self but he has been working non-stop for a while. Looking forward to the R-Patz looking happy again.-Dr.FB
