Andy Allo will be starting an acoustic residency at Hotel Cafe in Hollywood starting October 7th. There will be four shows in total and then she will take off in her car for a 5 city tour.

A night after rocking the Billboard Music Awards Pre-Party, Andy Allo attended the Billboard Awards in a smashing dress and was interviewed by Billboard.
Andy talked about working with Prince and I'm not so sure the interviewer knew that when she asked if Andy was star-struck to see anyone tonight and asked if Prince was someone who would do that to her? Guess she didn't know about "When Stars Collide" now did she?-DocFB

Andy Allo interviewed with Billboard earlier this month where she talked about working with Prince and performed 2 songs for the magazine.
Allo talks about Prince co-writing 3 songs with her and the experience calling it "incredible and educational" and would just watch him. Also...she teaches the people around her a fish song. All right then.
She performed for Billboard doing "Yellow Gold" acoustically.
Andy also performed a new song called "One Step Closer for Billboard.

Here is an EXCLUSIVE photo of Andy Allo being photographed by the brilliant Mathieu Bitton! This photo was taken by by journalist Katya Yarotskaya and shared graciously with us!
The shoot was done with Mathieu Bitton at Church Boutique in Los Angeles. It is a fashion story for the March 2013 issue of Rolling Stone Russia Magazine.
Andy is in town for the Grammys and already making quite a splash at the parties. Last week, she put out a touching tribute to her nephew Sudama, and the story behind his name, which you can listen to below.
Mathieu Bitton's "Looking Back On Love" documentary has been released on I-Tunes and was a top 5 seller. Bitton will be having a retrospective show and catalog with Bui Gallery at a John Lautner mansion in LA Feb. 18th.
Don't forget that Andy is set to be featured on the Guitar Center Sessions Feb. 22nd, 2013 and is hoping for a tour in the Spring.

Guitar Center Sessions Returns To DirecTV Starring Andy Allo & Others
Guitar Center Sessions on DirecTV is returning this weekend and will feature Andy Allo on Feb. 22nd, 2013.
We spoke with Andy about the performance and what "Superconductors" can expect on the show.
There will be a 6 piece horn section, John Blackwell on drums, Cassandra O'Neal on keys, Gouché on Bass and Mike Scott on Guitar.
She will be performing songs from "Superconductor" and throwing in a cover or 2 as well.

Andy Allo Tops Amazon Charts With “Superconductor”

With Prince as executive producer, Andy Allo finally unleashed her second album, Superconductor, on Tuesday, with the album going straight to #1 on Amazon’s Soul and R&B charts in the US, UK and France within hours of its release.
The album features members of Prince’s band, the NPG, as well as Maceo Parker, Trombone Shorty, Michael B (who plays drums on the title track) and the Hornheadz, who haven’t appeared on a Prince album since 2001′s The Rainbow Children. Prince co-wrote three tracks on the album, namely Superconductor, The Calm and Long Gone.
After several delays in the album’s release, the announcement went out via social media as promised on 20th November and, within hours, Andy was posting screenshots from Amazon sites in France, then UK and finally in the US of Superconductor in #1 position for MP3 sales.
Andy performed the lead single from the album, ‘People Pleaser’, on American talk show, Jimmy Kimmel Live on Tuesday night, complete with Trombone Shorty and Maceo Parker – who was looking as cool as ever in suit and shades – but no sign of Prince himself.
