David Schwimmer, best known as Ross from “Friends” is engaged to photographer Zoe Buckman.  Much is being said about the age difference of David, 43 and Zoe, 24 and calling David a creepy old man.  Haters….

Demi Lovato, the cutie, is letting it be known that her and Joe Jonas are an item.  Seriously, an item.  I saw them at Target and did a price check on them while picking up a Bender Ball.  Joe Jonas is happy the relationship is out in the open.  Yea, so the gay rumors will stop.  Oh come on.  Don’t act like you haven’t heard them.  Rumor has it if Joe didn’t start dating Demi, Justin Bieber woulda been all over that Disney behind…Oh baby, baby, baby….

Jennifer LustLove Hewitt and Jamie Kennedy have went splits-ville as a comment was released to People Magazine about the break-up.  Hope Jamie was aware of that……

Mario Lopez or A.C. Slater, for those who can’t let go of “Saved By The Bell” has got someone sperminated.  Rumor has it he told Zack Morris at The Max and he told Kelly Kapowski and somehow, Screech couldn’t keep it to himself and told Mr. Belding who told everyone.  The girl is Courtney Mazza and it appears to be the 1st baby for both…..

Here is Megan Fox on her way to enter her local Target……yea right! Megan Fox was in Paris yesterday when she wanted to get something to eat. 

She got her grub on at the Emporio Armani Cafe after attending Giorgio Armani Prive Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2010 Fashion Show. We could only imagine what Megan would wear to Target or getting something to eat at Burger King.-Dr.FB

I’ve had thoughts about this all day.  There are a few points I am going to make right now.

Here are TWO IMPORTANT INSIGHTS

ITEM #1: Prince is #1 in Retail Sales

Prince sold more physical albums than Urban!

Without digital sales, Keith only sold 134,338 making Prince #1 in retail stores.  To me, that is kind of press-release worthy to get out there.

Also…IF Prince added his digital sales from his own web site www.lotusflow3r.com to the mix, he may win the “all in” numbers..depends what he sold digitally.

Keith Urban’s album this week:

ITEM #2:  Capitol Records (most likely) Made Urban #1

OK, hear me out on this because this happens a LOT!  What most likely happened is that Capitol Records was VERY motivated (for many reasons) to deliver a # 1 ranking to Keith Urban. 

Seeing they were only 3,000 units behind the #1 spot, they “did what it took” to ensure the win.

Now, it’s only a theory but it is probably correct. 

If they would have lost by such a small margin (3,000 units) some vice president would have lost their job. 

When it is that close…you can go out and buy the units at a retail store or better yet, Itunes, to ensure the win, and it would be worth the investment.

  The downloads from his OWN site should count on this.  I have not seen a Billboard position this close in a while.  Something is just NOT adding up!-Dr.FB

Scott Addison Clay shared with us the video for Chocolate Box but instead of describing it, we will wait for you to see it when it debuts tonight.  There will be hours and hours of full screen videos and photos. Trust me, at 7:07 P.M. tonight, I will have my credit card handy to pay the $77 dollar annual membership fee.

Prince is performing 3 shows March 28th at L.A. Live!  Here is the news you heard first at Dr. Funkenberry.com

Ryan Seacrest made the official announcement this morning on his radio show.  He jumped the news early at 6 A.M and has been giving away tickets to the first show.

Prince will be performing at The Nokia Theatre, The Conga Room, and Club Nokia. 

Nokia Theatre 7 P.M.

Conga Room 9:30 P.M.

Club Nokia @ Midnight

Each show will be a 90 minute set.  Tickets go on sale  Saturday to the General Public thru Ticketmaster.  We hear there will be better seats for the Nokia Theatre show thru his own web site on Tuesday.

First, let us say that this is Prince’s protegee, not prodigee, that brought out the lol’s and I don’t think she is an indian singer Billy Bush but whateves.

Taylor Swift, who’s new CD drops tomorrow in stores, made an appearance on David Letterman last night.

The CD, entitled “Fearless”, is the 2nd for the 18 year old who will be turning 19 next month.  This cd will be going against Christina Aguilera’s CD which will sold only at Target stores.  So far, the direct marketing approach has worked for Best Buy and Wal-Mart, producing a slew of number ones. 

Something tells me you will see Taylor number one on the charts and Christina somewhere in the top 5.  Having less to do with Target’s marketing scheme than it being a greatish hits cd with a few new songs.-Dr.FB
