After hiding out and only attending a Britney Spears show recently, Lady Gaga is set to return to TV appearing on the Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon Tuesday February 18th.
It was 2 months ago where she appeared on "The Voice" performing "Do What U Want" with Christina Aguilera. Gaga was channeling Liza Minnelli with her performance.
Artpop has been dragged through the mud and Gaga with it. We were saying all last year that Gaga should not release "ArtPop" until 2014 and to take more time putting it out. Seems we were right.-DocFB
Diagnosis: We have a feeling the Fallon appearance will be her relaunch of trying to promote "ArtPop" in the way it should have been from the start and also her upcoming tour.
Katy Perry is promoting her new movie "Part Of Me" on stopped by "The Tonight Show With Jay Leno" and talked about Taco Bell, and when it finally happened for her when it comes to music.
She said that she did her new movie documentary to show what was "underneath the hood" so to speak. She allowed the falling apart of her marriage during the shooting of the movie and felt it had to stay in because people would notice it was missing. Hmm.
She wanted people to see her at her lowest point and her highest point. Interesting. If the divorce from Russell Brand was left out of the movie, would it really offend you? Do we need access to all private moments?-DocFB
Madonna released the cover for her new CD MDNA (For the full cover, press on the picture.) just days before her Super Bowl halftime show.
The CD MDNA will be out on March 26th.
It was also confirmed that Madonna's first single would be "Give Me All Your Luvin' featuring Nicki Minaj and M.I.A. The video for the song will debut on Friday and we can almost guarantee that all 3 of them will be performing it at the Super Bowl on Sunday.
She also appeared on Jay Leno talking about having to do the Super Bowl is the most "nerve wracking thing she has ever done".....
Check out the interview before.
Are you looking forward to Madonna's Super Bowl Performance?-DocFB
In what will sure be a promotional tour to remember, Adam Lambert kicked it off performing "Better Than I Know Myself" on The Tonight Show last night.
"Better Than I Know Myself" can be described as a power ballad that Adam interjects his octave range into from time to time. Sometimes, "The Tonight Show's" sound people mix a little too well for my liking. Some will say that Adam was lip syncing, while to me he clearly was not, but they mix his vocals to be the same level as everything else. They even tried to take the crowd out of the mix but you can pick them up big time. Those Glamberts travel well.
A big note to the Tonight Show; can you please make musical performances available separate from the whole episode? Jimmy Fallon, Ellen and Jimmy Kimmel can do it, so why can't you? It is rather annoying. All the links shut down on youtube because you cannot provide the footage from your other show.
On that note, make sure to click the last bar to watch Adam Lambert's performance of "Better Than I Know Myself" on the Tonight Show while we wait for Adam to rock Ellen where we know the Glamberts will be loud and be allowed to be free.-DocFB
Diagnosis: Not a fan of ballads as first singles but Adam gets a pass this time...
Janet Jackson was on "The Tonight Show With Jay Leno and talked about her niece Paris Jackson and her acting career.
Janet feels she should enjoy her youth as she is only young once. Janet feels after she is 18, she can act and just enjoy being young.
Janet is obviously speaking from experience as her and her brother Michael Jackson and his brothers started in entertainment at a very young age.
We wonder if Michael were alive what he would want for Paris?
What do you think of Janet's advice for Paris?-DocFB
Diagnosis: Should she really have talked about it on TV? These Jacksons.
The Original 7ven, the Band Formerly Known As The Time will be performing on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno tonight.
The band's new album "Condensate" is in stores now and they will be performing "Trendin'" on the show tonight.-DocFB
Diagnosis: Somebody bring me a mirror....
Oh boy. Conan O'Brien has been nominated for an Emmy for his short stint as host of the Tonight Show. Jay Leno? Nope.
If Conan wins...ackward! The show will air on NBC with Jimmy Fallon hosting August 29th. Now that would be something.
Glee also picked up a few nominations and Lea Michele was nominated for best actress in a comedy series. After my run in with Lea a couple months back at the Grove, I will be rooting for Tina Fey yet again to win.
For a complete list of nominations....>>>>>>>
Robert Pattinson appeared on Jay Leno last night to promote "Eclipse" and his parents were in the audience where he had to talk about his nudity on set. Check out part 1 above and part 2 below. Enjoy!~-Dr.FB
Chris Rock was on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno and he brought the funny. Talking about how he wishes Obama had Katrina and Bush had the oil spill going on. "Bush would get every drop like Jenna Jameson." Wow.
Rock also talked about what he was trying to say to Kobe Bryant last week at the NBA Finals and Jay saying he could make Kobe laugh.
Chris Rock still has it. Even comparing his co-stars of "Grown Ups" to the stars of "Sex & The City". Check it out above.-Dr.FB
