03 Apr Unreleased PRINCE Movie Trailer Leaks!~
So around the time PRINCE was making 3121: The Music, he was also making 3121: The Movie…..which never saw the light of day…..until now.
It’s on Cameron Pearce’s page although a majority of the movie was shot by Sanna Hamri.
The movie was renamed “Lotus Flower” and was to be released on the website LotusFlow3r.com back in April of 2009. Before the site went live however, the movie was taken off the site.
The Doc saw something close to the final cut before, but the footage of the song “Guitar” was added along with a different shot of the video “3121” and added were the shots of him walking the streets of Los Angeles.

I just had The Word n The Dance mixed for a piece of choreo I started after being so inspired to dance again:) Whatever happens with this project I at least have about 3 minutes of awesome that these songs brought out of a girl who had let herself go and didn’t think she could do it any more, Turns out I’m better with time 2!!!

second – it would of actually added value to the lotus site IF Prince would of put that “movie” up there cuz 77 smackers for WAV files of an album in stres for 12 dollars at the same time and a wayy late weak tshirt with that dreadful LF artwork was a bit… oh eye dont no…(have to, 2 use fam-eboncs) felt a bit … squishy like fish, soft and wet.
Maybe it was a great way to get bootleg money from the fans finally…even score now?

Prince said he had remasteres ready…tis from mr. purple harrassing WB over Ultimate pre-JW Prince.
Right. Those arent remasters, probably cleaned up re-eq’d lame “remasters”.

Posted at 14:58h, 04 April@nastygirl It doesn’t completely suck, but it could have been better. It’s not like we wanted him to ax it completely. There was potential there, but HOW to market the movie seemed like an issue. It’s all good =). I’m sure there will be other movies that he could work on. I always believe God has a plan.

Posted at 12:37h, 04 AprilWhy not make a historic concert movie Prince? Capitalize on your strengths. Judging from this trailer the “acting” and storyline are for lack of a better word, cringeworthy. Purple Rain has a great storyline and many classic scenes that will stand the test of time. Release concert DVD’s with behind the scenes footage. Release 20 ten deluxe in the states!!!!!!!!

Prince, U know we’re all in a bunch over U playing songs like “Bambi” & “Something In The Water”- I’m dreaming of hearing “Crazy You”, “I Wish U Heaven”, “Lady Cab Driver”, “Paisley Park”, “Strange Relationship”, “I Could Never Take The Place Of Your Man”, “When U Were Mine”, “Movie Star”, “Sign “O” The Times”, “Forever In My Life”, “Do U Lie?” & “New Position”- those are many of the cuts the real Purple people are dreamin’ of hearing live. Love U & endless thanks for the songs U have been gracing us with. Excited for Vegas and LA.

This is not what I originally saw, but does have parts of it in there. …Take note what Sanna says at the very end. Oh and it’s actually a lot of something, so find a comfy char…sit back and enjoy! After Purple Rain’s commercial success, his comeback movies have been the punchline for many comedians jokes. If Prince releases another movie it has to be as good or better than Purple Rain. This looks like another not too well thought out idea.

U opened my eyes 2 a lot of the reasons why Prince doesn’t like working with record labels. Artist are always @ there disposal. I was always puzzled as 2 why Prince abandoned the project. Ur right! 3121 was one of his best cd’s. It seemed like a very commercial CD 2 me. It had a lot of potential hit singles. The SNL “Fury” video idea would have made that CD sell like hot cakes. It all makes perfect sense now.
I remember a press junket that was leaked about Prince going on Oprah & BET’s 106 & Park & other shows 2 promote the album & it never happened. The build up 2 the 3121 CD release with the Te Amo video in late 2005. Then the clever tongue in cheek “Black Sweat” video. Then after the 3121 CD was released with the Tower Records surprise per4mance in Hollyweird. Prince just seemed 2 just disappear. I also remember attending a BET after-party at the Beverly Hills Hotel, that Prince put together. Now that I think back. Prince seemed like he had a lot on his mind that night during his per4mance. Then the Tamar album was shelved a few months later with no word on what happened.
Then it did seem strange, when he made that surprise appearance on American Idol, but they never mentioned the 3121 CD not once. I can see now why Prince has the attitude 2 just do things on his own. It must be very frustrating 2 him sometimes. But Prince is very bright & always comes up with clever ways, 2 get his product distributed & get paid up front, without any hassles from record executives, that can’t even play a note of music. Thanx 4 clearing that all up 4 me doctor. Its much appreciated dude. Glad U were picked 2 provide the purple info…
By the way I like the abbreviation of CB777 I have 2 use that one..lol
