PRINCE & The NPG Are About to Heat Up Minneapolis!!!
MINNEAPOLIS IS ABOUT 2 HEAT UP BIGTIME!!
PRINCE AND THE NPG ARE HAVING AN OPEN REHEARSAL AT THE DAKOTA JAZZ CLUB!!!
The group Fun. has rented out Paisley Park so rather than stop rehearsals Prince decided to move the band downtown
Witness 1st hand what happens as Prince and The New Power Generation gear up for their next tour. (We told you 2013 was going to be big!)
Here is a list of what will be going down at the Dakota Jazz Club this week:
Wednesday Night Soundcheck: New drummer audition and Improvisational Music. Also, DJ Rashida will spin new, unreleased music. 2 shows: 8 P.M. & 11. P.M. Tickets $70.00
Thursday Night: JAM!!! (consider this the afterparty vibe) 2 shows 8 P.M. & 11 P.M. tickets $100-$150
FRIDAY: .......Surprise!! (don't miss this!) 2 shows 8 P.M. & 11 P.M. Tickets $200-$250
Tickets go on sale at 12 noon Central Time Today Jan. 15th HERE.

I think I’m going to have to get over this 30 year addiction to Prince and his music. I can’t afford it anymore. If this were 10 years ago and the NPG Music Club were still in existence, the soundcheck access would be free and the main show would have been $70. I’m glad I’m not in Minneapolis right now, because I would be so depressed!

I’ll pass on this for now. Will wait until the Paisley Park jams. Hopefully those won’t be at the $200 a pop fee. I understand the cost because the Dakota is a limited/intimate venue so demand will be higher. With Paisley Park you can fit more people in than the Dakota.

drummer auditions is either another tease….where he will play with the band or sheila/hannah and co will have a drum off or local MN peoples will get the chance to funk with the NPG from the backseat!

MAN, i wish i could be there!!!! NEVER been to an aftershow! #1 on the ‘ol bucket list!!! TOUR! Please come back to NY!!!! I’m WAY too excited! Even tho i wont be there, i’m just glad everything is goin so well for Prince and the band. It does my heart good. The Dakota Jazz Club has no listing of this event on their website calendar. I called just to verify and the person on the telephone advised me there is no Prince jam, rehearsal, auditions, or any other performance(s). What gives?
