MINNEAPOLIS IS ABOUT 2 HEAT UP BIGTIME!!
PRINCE AND THE NPG ARE HAVING AN OPEN REHEARSAL AT THE DAKOTA JAZZ CLUB!!!
The group Fun. has rented out Paisley Park so rather than stop rehearsals Prince decided to move the band downtown
Witness 1st hand what happens as Prince and The New Power Generation gear up for their next tour. (We told you 2013 was going to be big!)
Here is a list of what will be going down at the Dakota Jazz Club this week:
Wednesday Night Soundcheck: New drummer audition and Improvisational Music. Also, DJ Rashida will spin new, unreleased music. 2 shows: 8 P.M. & 11. P.M. Tickets $70.00
Thursday Night: JAM!!! (consider this the afterparty vibe) 2 shows 8 P.M. & 11 P.M. tickets $100-$150
FRIDAY: …….Surprise!! (don’t miss this!) 2 shows 8 P.M. & 11 P.M. Tickets $200-$250
Tickets go on sale at 12 noon Central Time Today Jan. 15th HERE.

Posted at 18:11h, 19 JanuaryI was able to attend and it was AMAZING! Prince is still the BEST and the band is the best. Does anyone else think Shelby is totally unlikeable. She can sing but she needs to take it down about 10 notches. Thanks Prince!

We got in for a 3 dollar cover charge (I kid you not!) and watched a 2.5 hour show. Amazing show. That is my gold standard for concerts ever since. I think I paid more for drinks than admission.

Speaking of skin or skins is there a drummer audition r not?? She’s awesome I was just wondering, I also love Meytal Cohen more rock but she’s hot! I want to be it so bad, but alas I only have rudimentary skills thus far, plus like i said I have to heal thy self first.
If by some miracle u do what u said and tell the people who have numbers let me/us know bout shows after at Park r somethin we could at least hang and enjoy the music perhaps with a few Advil even dance (:

Posted at 14:06h, 15 JanuaryThe tickets are all sold out and the Dr.Funkenberry site originally said tickets would go on sale at 11AM – but the Dakota site said 5:50 CST the tickets would go on sale. Now everything is sold-out. There needs to be additional tickets added there was inconsistent information on the Dr. Funkenberry site and what was listed on the Dakota site.

Posted at 13:03h, 15 JanuaryThere is no drummer audition. Hannah’s husband and dad have been trying to link her with Prince on a permanent basis since Hannah met Sheila at KOSA last year. Notice how Third Eyed Girl is spelled different on Hannah’s YouTube video and doesn’t come from the same YouTube account as the others. It’s really sad when you contemplate the underlying factors.

Posted at 10:42h, 15 JanuaryI think I’m going to have to get over this 30 year addiction to Prince and his music. I can’t afford it anymore. If this were 10 years ago and the NPG Music Club were still in existence, the soundcheck access would be free and the main show would have been $70. I’m glad I’m not in Minneapolis right now, because I would be so depressed!
