After a few weeks of stating she was leaving "America's Got Talent" Sharon Osbourne has made it official and stating the way NBC treated her son Jack who was diagnosed Multiple Sclerosis earlier this year.
Jack was in talks to star in the show "Stars Earn Stripes" and Sharon feels the network decided against Jack because of his illness.
Sharon stated on her reasons and the discipline she will receive for leaving "America's Got Talent";
“I just can’t be fake. It’s discrimination and it was badly handled.”
"All they can do is stop me from being a judge on another network for five years.
NBC is stating they never signed a contract with Jack and were just in talks.
It appears Sharon will finish out this season as judge on the reality show. Expect Howard Stern to bring it up on the show when it returns next week after the Olympics.-DocFB
Sigh. I really wanted Adam Lambert to be the next "American Idol" judge but if Nick Jonas gets the job, I won't totally be mad.
Nick tweeted over the weekend:
“The rumors are true... I am being considered to be a judge on American Idol, and it would be a dream come true if it happens. #nickonidol.”
#nickonidol started trending almost immediately.
The reason I like Nick Jonas, aside from his solo record, is because of him trying to bring constant awareness to Diabetes. Nick is a diabetic, as I am. Not many people know about the conditions of diabetes and what goes along with it. I look healthy on the outside but for the past few months...my feet have been in constant pain. I try to get the word out about Diabetes but if Nick had that platform, he could be doing a lot to bring even more awareness to the cause.
What do U think of Nick Jonas being a judge on American Idol?
Below is a "secret show" performance with Administration (& former member of Prince's NPG) Sonny Thompson.-DocFB
Tyler released this statement;
"After some long ... hard ... thoughts ... I’ve decided it’s time for me to let go of my mistress ‘American Idol’ before she boils my rabbit.”
"I strayed from my first love, AEROSMITH, and I’m back – but instead of begging on my hands and knees, I’ve got two fists in the air and I’m kicking the door open with my band. The next few years are going to be dedicated to kicking some serious ass – the ultimate in auditory takeover."
"On Nov. 6, we are unleashing our new album, Music from Another Dimension on the Earth, Moon, Mars, and way beyond the stars. IDOL was over-the-top fun, and I loved every minute of it ... Now it’s time to bring Rock Back. ERMAHGERD.”
At a press conference for the "Global Warming" tour, Steven stated that "We would not let you down" when it came to Aerosmith. It seems he knew that he would have to commit to the band full time.
As for Idol, there has been no ill will and wish Steven good luck with Aerosmith.
With Jennifer Lopez being non-committal about returning to the singing competition, Idol is in shambles yet again.-DocFB
New X Factor Judge Demi Lovato looks tempting on the July Cosmopolitan magazine cover which is set to hit newsstands next week.
Demi, now 19, talks openly about her bipolar disorder, when she sees herself getting married, and what types of guys she will not date.
About being diagnosed with bipolar disorder;
“I felt relieved when I found out. Like I’m not completely crazy; there’s a medical reason for all of it.”
“It’s a daily thing; you don’t get time off from it. And if I feel myself slipping back into old patterns, I have to ask others for help, which is hard for me to learn, because I really like doing everything on my own.”
She also talked about where she feels she will be in her personal life;
“I want to be married with kids in 10 years.” (No word why she didn't say married to drfunkenberry in 10 years. Sure it was an honest mistake that she left my name out is all.)
She also touched on what guys she wouldn't date;
“I don’t have many deal breakers. I’ve done so much in my life, it doesn’t feel right to judge other people. Oh, I know one quality I won’t tolerate. I would never be with a guy who is controlling.”
Hmm. Wonder if Demi has a sweet spot for guys with blue eyes.
We know others have been harsh on Demi being an X Factor judge and an afterthought like L.A. Reid but we know better. We are glad that Cosmo is putting the shine on Demi and we are also proud of her talking about her issue of bipolar disorder and sharing what she is going through.-DocFB

Mariah Carey appears to be heading to X Factor, replacing Nicole Scherzinger as a judge on the music reality show. Nicole, however, will not be going too far.
According to reports hitting the wires this morning, Mariah Carey, who was to be a judge on X Factor from the start, but not being able to come to an agreement on the money and her being pregnant, appears to be heading to the judge's chair.
Nicole, who was obviously not comfortable being a judge on the show, will be replacing Steve Jones as host of X Factor. I thought Mario Lopez would be a better fit for the show.
The announcement has not been made official but unless some last-minute snags happen, expect the announcement by the end of the week.-DocFB
Diagnosis: X Factor still needs some more fixing to compete with Idol....
In what is sure to shock the PTC and others, Howard Stern made it official by announcing he is the new judge of "America's Got Talent" this morning.
Howard Stern replaces Piers Morgan and the show wanted Howard so bad, they are moving the entire show and other judges to New York so Howard does not interrupt his radio show, which is based in New York.
I am sure the NBC executives are extremely pleased. NBC is struggling for a hit and the attention and controversy that will follow Howard and wondering what he will say next will entice people.
He is not as raunchy as he used to be and is a perfect choice for a judge. Still, it is going to ruffle some feathers.
What do you think of the choice?-DocFB
