The Foo Fighters Rock Out With Joan Jett On “Bad Reputation”
The Foo Fighters performed "Bad Reputation" with Joan Jett on "The Late Show With David Letterman" last night.
Joan Jett is still rocking it and I can say the same for Dave Grohl and the boys. Dave though? I'm not sure Joan Jett raided your closet n I doubt you have a guitar like that. I know you are kidding..but yikes!
Joan also joined the boys on stage for their sold out show at Madison Square Garden. Hope you enjoy the clips!-DocFB

Nick & Vanessa Go 70′s & 80′s On Us

Vanessa Minnillo & Nick Lachey Photo: AKMImages.com
Outside of Beso over the weekend, Vanessa Minnillo & Nick Lachey decided to give us a 70's and 80's fashion show.
No idea why the engaged couple did it other to have fun. At least I hope that is the reason.
In all seriousness, it was for Vanessa's best girlfriend Jen Lee.
Nick recently had his new song "Last One Standing" debut at Madison Square Garden during the NCAA Tournament over the weekend.
Nice to see the engaged couple having fun.-Dr.FB

Prince Serenades Gossip Girl’s Leighton Meester At Madison Square Garden
It's amazing just to go to a Prince show, even if you're a celebrity like Leighton Meester. But to then be brought up on stage and serenaded by the purple one himself? C'mon, is there anything more surreal?
Prince rocked Madison Square Garden again last night as part of his Welcome 2 America tour. During the show, he invited Leighton Meester, star of the tv show Gossip Girl, up on stage where he proceeded to sing to her during his sexy ballad "Somewhere Here on Earth".
Did we mention legendary saxophonist Maceo Parker joined them on stage?
So Leighton, what did you answer when Prince sang the line "U wanna do this at yours, or my place?". Hmm...
Next up for Prince is a return to Madison Square Garden on February 7. Do you have tickets yet? - Dr.FB

EXCLUSIVE Photos: Prince Rocks New York’s Madison Square Garden
Prince once again rocked Madison Square Garden last night with the fourth of his Welcome 2 America shows. These exclusive photos landed in our inbox just now - thanks to the purple one for sharing them. Hot, no?
Last night's openers were ol' skool band Mint Condition and the funkified Janelle Monae (who also joined Prince on stage for "If I Was Your Girlfriend" during his set). Rolling Stone had this to say about Prince's high-energy, hit-packed, sold-out show: "Such is the power of Prince: With songs as funky and fresh as that, the party doesn't ever stop." (full RS review here).
Were you at the show? Was it as funky as these pics??? -Dr.FB

Prince Gifts One Lucky Fan With His Guitar

Last Saturday night, Prince rocked New York City with his first of three shows at Madison Square Garden. The Garden was sold out and the roof about flew off with all the funk in the building.
During the concert, Prince finished a song ("Baby I'm A Star" if I recall?) and handed his trademark Hohner leopard guitar down into the VIP section. One lucky fan got his hands on it and posed for the picture above.
I was not in the VIP section but vividly remember watching this moment happen from above. Prince has handed off guitars into an audience before, but never at a large arena show and very rarely it is his treasured Hohner which he's been funking on since Dirty Mind. How lucky was that fan that an official photographer was right there to capture the moment??
Did the fan give it back? Oh yeah, we saw the guitar later in the show, back on Prince where it belongs.
Prince has two more shows at Madison Square Garden on December 29 and January 18, 2011. If you're in NY, don't miss it! - Dr.FB

Listen Up: Prince Interviewed On 107.5 WBLS New York
Prince continued his surprise appearances in New York City today when he dropped by the 107.5 WBLS studios for an interview; keyboard player Morris Hayes came with.
Prince talked about his upcoming shows at the IZOD Center on December 15 and 17, and his Madison Square Garden shows on December 18, 29 and January 18 (ticket info). Prince gifted the radio host with Prince candy bars - wonder if this means there will be some interesting new merchandise at the NY shows?
Prince also answered questions about the special guests that concertgoers can expect at the NY shows, how he stays looking so young, and whether he would ever launch his own shoe line (!!). Prince said he really doesn't do interviews much because "if you listen to my music, that's me now".
During the interview, Prince sent prayers out to one of his backup singers, Shelby J., whose father passed away this week. We too send our condolences to Shelby and wish the best for her and her family.
