I always love hearing Prince do another take on his songs. Kind of Jimmy Hendrix inspired. Makes me want to be at Woodstock ’69 back in time to experience it or something. I’m going to have some fun with this one. I still prefer the original. The uptempo makes it fun for me to go dance crazy. It will stand the test of time like his music. Prince, you are my hero and I don’t think you realize how much you inspire me and helped me to become who I am today and I’m sure so many others here.

It is a beautiful thing to hear Prince getting back to his Rock And Roll Roots. Real Musicians making Real Music! …

As I expected, Prince is having a hard time selling his overpriced tickets to his Temp, AZ show! I swear to God, that little jerk is delusional! I was prepared to pay $100… but $200 to $500?! No way!

One must know what a pocket is before shelling out cash or keeping anything in it. Newest marketing ploy is to be a “Kuntry Gurl” and disassociate from her maiden name. This will be an interesting yet (in my opinion) short-lived run for Mr. Purple. Purpose and end goal? I’m staying tuned for amusement sake alone. Thanks, as always, for the laughs, Dave.

Just got finish listening 2 it MAN O MAN this is FONKY!! I really like the edginess Prince put in this song. Now this what I am talking about some MAD PURPLE ROCK. Prince has covered so many genre’s of music but this by far is AMAZING 2 be on this Purple Roll-a-coster and see him take 1 of his OWN songs and just straight up put a Rock spin on it is so CLASSIC PRINCE. Once again PRINCE as created a masterpiece. This might be an overstatement but I have read some horrible statement about Prince and his music with 3rd Eye Girl “BUT I’M HEAR 2 TELL U THERE IS SOMETHING ELSE” If U want 2 listen 2 OLD Prince music thats the reason why we have ALL is CD’S 4. BUT lets remember Prince is constantly changing and evolving BUT still remaining TRUE 2 HIMSELF. I am so looking forward 2 this new ROCK PURPLE FUNK with him and 3RD EYE GIRL! Lets ROCK on in2 tha PURPLE ROCK this 2013!

I won’t be going to any of the dates on this tour. A combination of seeing Prince enough (15 times) and feeling blessed enough for those opportunities, not wanting to spend over $200 on one ticket AND the fact I’m just too busy.

That being written, it would serve Prince very, very, very well to make sure and have a professional film crew on hand to DOCUMENT this short tour and put together a 2 DVD set with maybe a couple of the shows filmed as well as a making of TOUR and 3rd Eye Girl band documentary with all the riddles and jokes taken out and some real, honest and dramatic truth telling on how they put it all together.

Most people on the planet won’t be able to make it to any of the West coast dates and deserve an opportunity to see the shows. By Prince filming the short tour and releasing it in stores and on line in DVD/Blu-Ray formats, it will spread his message of music, love and ROCK to the masses. It would be a WIN-WIN situation. Plus, make $$$ for Prince!

    Tru Dat!

Not liking it, at all. Wish the man could just do his own thing. He seems to easily influenced by other people while his talent rots within.

Wow. This is hard, heavy, and tight… even gives “Dreamer” a run for its’ “rockness”.

I suggest listening to this loudly, through a proper stereo system.
