27 Jan It’s Hazy, Hot, and Humid in Jacksonville.

Sanjaya Seacrest
We’re now into week 3 of auditions and we kick it off in Jacksonville Florida. The home of high humidity and very large gators. It was a good start in Florida. It must be all the humidity that warms the voices up. Or maybe it’s the drunken non-making out that Paula did with Kara. Either way, it started out very nicely.
Naturally, the more it went on, the worse it got. I don’t know, with the way the show started, I had some high hopes for Florida. I wasn’t expecting everyone to rock, but I was expecting a little better than what they had. They did make it up in the end, and though I didn’t agree with all the choices they made today, there were some really good singers.
On a side note, thank you American Idol. Finally, a show that didn’t have a bleeding heart story. It was a nice release from the mundane of the normalcy’s of the show. Let’s see how they do in Salt Lake City tomorrow.
