Eddie Murphy has released a reggae themed song featuring Snoop Lion and it is good!
Eddie and Snoop cover racial profiling and a messed up economy.
Just in case there is a problem with the link above, check out the track below.
This is not Eddie's first crack at music. Sure you guys remember "Party All The Time" with Rick James.

What do you do when a reality show may not be giving you the drama you need? Why, you call Dina Lohan and ask her to be in the mix. That is EXACTLY what VH-1 has done with "Hollywood Exes" a reality show debuting later this year.
We first told you about the show back in March that the show would feature the ex's of Prince, Eddie Murphy, R. Kelly, Will Smith and others.
We had a feeling that Mayte Garcia (Prince's ex) and Nicole Murphy (Eddie Murphy's ex) would be pretty tight-lipped on the show about who they used to be with, and would rather focus on what is going on in their lives now.
We are told that Dina is not exactly a cast member but will be hanging out with the ladies and causing drama. OK, we added the last, but that for sure is what is going to happen. For. Sure.
What won't be happening? Lindsay Lohan, Dina's famous daughter, appearing on the show.
VH-1, won't you go back to playing music videos instead?-DocFB
The news we hinted at earlier this week, can now be told. Mayte Garcia along with Nicole Murphy, Jessica Canseco, Sheree Fletcher, and Andrea Kelly will star in a VH1 Reality show.
The show has a working title of "Hollywood Exes" and follows the 5 women on their journey without their famous husbands and ex-lovers.
The series will star Nicole Murphy (ex-wife of Eddie Murphy – 13 years), Jessica Canseco (ex-wife of Jose Conseco - 4 years), Sheree Fletcher (ex-wife of Will Smith – 3 years), Mayte Garcia (ex-wife of Prince – 3 years), and Andrea Kelly (ex-wife of R. Kelly – 12 years). “Hollywood Exes” will premiere in the summer of 2012 with 10 one-hour episodes.

Eddie Murphy is pulling out as host of the Oscars next year after Brett Ratner resigned as producer.
Eddie released this statement: “First and foremost I want to say that I completely understand and support each party’s decision with regard to a change of producers for this year’s Academy Awards ceremony,” Murphy said in statement released by the Academy today. “I was truly looking forward to being a part of the show that our production team and writers were just starting to develop, but I’m sure that the new production team and host will do an equally great job.”
The acadamy added: “I appreciate how Eddie feels about losing his creative partner, Brett Ratner, and we all wish him well,” Academy president Tom Sherak said.
Brett Ratner did a movie Q & A for "Tower Heist" on Sunday and when asked about rehearsals, Brett said "Rehearsals are for (F-word gay slur)" and has gotten heat over it. Brett told The Hollywood Reporter exclusively that he is resigning.
Brett came under attack for that comment and comments he made to Howard Stern regarding his sex life and telling an underage Lindsay Lohan to get tested for STD's.
We are being told by two sources that Eddie has stated if Brett is resigning from the Oscars, so is he.
Brett rallied to get Eddie Murphy to be the host of the Oscars
Will Eddie Murphy open with "Party All The Time" at the Oscars?
When I first saw the wire that Eddie Murphy was in talks to host the 2012 Academy Awards, I thought maybe it was 1989. Eddie hosting the award show in that purple jump suit would be interesting. But, this is serious. Eddie looks like he will be the Oscar host.
When Eddie was at the Oscars a few years ago, he did not even stay for the whole show after he found out he did not win for "Dreamgirls" and who could blame him? This time, though, he would have to stay for the whole show. The producer of the show is going to be Brett Ratner, who is making Eddie's latest movie with Ben Stiller "Tower Heist" opening by the end of the year.
One has to wonder if Eddie, who was one of the funniest stand-up comics in the 80's, still has the juice for now. Eddie's routine nowadays would get major flack for how he would go after gays and everybody.
It shows that Hollywood is forgiving, or at least has amnesia when it comes to talent.-Dr.FB
Diagnosis: I Got Some Ice Cream....N You Can't have None....
I am not sure what to think of this movie by the preview of "Tower Heist" above. It seems at first Ben Stiller is trying his hand at action movie starring Alan Alda. Then when Eddie Murphy enters it, it has to be a comedy...right? Although I am not sure where the laughs are to be yet.
The movie is directed by Bret Ratner so I know there will be some cool action scenes. I am just....wonderign about the comedy. Ben Stiller has had hit after hit movie and Eddie....has had hits with the Shrek movies recently.
I would like to see Eddie bounce back, I am not sure "Tower Heist" will be his bounce back film though. What do you think of the trailer?-Dr.FB
